You people owe me some monitor wipes and a lesson in horse flipping.....

I’ve been reading through some of the old threads in favorites and someone linked this hysterical train wreck: https://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/forum/discussion-forums/eventing/210-none

So I started reading with my morning coffee… I have now had coffee come out of my nose and I need some monitor wipes please.

I also have some questions on how to start properly abusing my mounts. Is beer necessary for eventing, or could I just say “Hold my Vodka and Seven and watch this” before I attempt horse flipping? I’m going to go look for an 11 foot ditch while I await further instruction.

How many pages did you get into. Tough wading!!!

Even with COVID lurking outside.

Wait, dumb question, but how do you find favorites? And do you have any more hysterical old threads to share?

I’ve read or re-read a lot of old threads today… there have been some doozies. The little brat troll trying to mess with a bunch of eventers just cracked me up. Poor thing didn’t know what she was getting into.

I never did get my breasts.

Good old lesbian numping, finging, canoedling, lesbian horse flippers we were.

By the way, beer puke doesn’t stain a bay. Just lean out hard when galloping.

17 years later, that makes the OP what, 33? I wonder what she’s doing now and if she’s realized that xc isn’t abuse.

Always fun to see which crazy posters have managed to get themselves kicked off the forum.

I always wonder what happened to those posters.

Here ya go, for those who have finished their outdoor socially-distanced run, have had enough of Netflix, and find it too early for the real NFL draft drama … COTH ‘Favorites’, going back decades!

Which ones are favorites? Which did you actually learn from? Which undid some brain cells, rather than increasing them?

OR … Make up some endings for some that never shared the real conclusion!

P.S. Y’all don’t post on those zombie threads, please  … as fun as it seems (and April 1st creeping up on us), just move on and read another one, rather than re-hash that one. A dozen years after the fact.

@OverandOnward my ending for the crayola trainer is the trainer moved out of the area, won enough on a scratch off to up grade to magic markers, and is the woman who tried to buy the pony from Manni.

Oooh then the blue saddle would have fit right into her color scheme.

Hence why the saddle was blue!

Also we need some links to your favorite zombie Favorites. The thread titles don’t always help us find the real treasures!

The Crayola thread is a good start: https://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/forum/archives/favorites/17117-help-plz-tact-or-education-needed-a-short-novel

In these older threads, must read around the format coding that is no longer recognized by current generation xhtml … plus for a while the initial post was duplicated by the software … but that’s ok, still a great thread!

“Can a bear outrun a horse?”

“Dear Abby Teach Me to Be Polite”
conflict between ammy & junior! banned OP!

Here’s a thread that is more serious. What impresses me is that, although as of September the thread will be 20 years old, in some respect it reads as if it could have been posted this morning.

That one was epic! It became a cultural thing on COTH. Many members had chosen a color for their signature lines. Some members still reference it. Maybe it should be required COTH reading?

Oh god yeah… that was epic.

I vote for the Willem posts. This one had me laughing so hard I cried.

Just in case you’re new to COTH Willem is legendary. He was, according to himself, a “halfsteiner” who was just like David Lee Roth, but chestnut. His posts introduced us to his friends, his love of carrotten, and in this one he is explaining the birds and bees to to a colt owned by a friend of his “modder”.

Somewhere there’s a thread about canoeing and kayaking as well…

I am still wanting to know who the OP was in the Crayola thread, what was the out come, and what was the trainers handle here.
