Lovely pony! He’s going to make a kid (or a petite AA who likes being close to the ground lol) very happy!
I love him! Congratulations, he is super duper cute!
Shown with his surrogate mom as a baby, and Up to his 10th ride as a 3 1/2 year old. This guy is never had an out of proportion day in his life that I’ve seen. Unlike every other baby I’ve had. Plus he is super sweet. Easiest baby to start ever.
Secret x Jazz/Juventus
Photos are roughly a couple weeks old, a couple months old, yearling, a couple of them has two-year-old than 2 1/2 year-old and then 3 1/2
There is an oops photo in there (not him), and I don’t know how to get rid of it… Sorry!
He is GORGEOUS!!!
2022 - This is mine at 5 the first year I had him - he’s a KWPN. Big guy, very angular and leggy, and definitely spent much of the first year I had him in an awkward gawky phase!
2023 - A year later he had already filled out so much. He was still butt-high and not done growing, but I was thrilled with how much his topline and body had filled in.
2024 - This past weekend. I saw this candid and thought he just looked like a completely different horse from two years ago. I’m hoping he’s done growing (I am not tall!), but the past 6 months he has really grown into his body. He looks and feels so adult compared to a year ago.
I wish I had foal photos! He’s definitely a late-maturing type - finally coming into his own having just turned 9.
Upper photo was him a couple of weeks after I bought him in December of his 5yo year (2020). He weight taped at 965lbs at 16h.
Lower photo was almost exactly 3 years later, as an 8yo in December 2023. Sticks at 16.3h now and is probably well into the 1300lb range. It’s been a long, slowwww process but I really do think he’s going to make up to be a nice little local hunter for me.
Dora as a foal - I worked for her breeder and met her the day she was born
Dora at her first show in the fall of her 3yo year - maybe 5-6 rides under her belt here
Her first show over fences at 5
Finally consistently showing at 18yo
Her first event at 18yo
Still going strong at 21
And one for the new baby
Roa the day I met her, January 23
After a few weeks with me, March 30
And a video still from her 3rd birthday, May 3
She string tests to 16.2-16.3 but the animal communicator told me she said “I’m going to be big! I’m going to be 17 hands!”
I am curious as to her breeding. She has a very steep angle to her hip.
Holsteiner - Larimar (Lavall II) x Calido I
She’s free jumped a tiny bit and uses herself quite well
Keep an eye on her SI joint
