Your breeding advice requested for for a mare with Concorde and Landgraf lines

I have a jumping mare 1.60m tall on the spooky side which jumped 1.20m from Larino (Concorde x Armstrong) by Landwind (Landgraf I x Fasolt) which I would like to breed to one of two locally available stallions:

  1. one is from Quite Easy (Quidam de Revel x Landgraf I) by O Largo (Lasso x Servus) by Farn by Artilleur, and

  2. the other is from Indoctro (Capitol I x Caletto II) by Jus de Pomme (Primo de Bruyeres x Garitchou) by Renville by Ramiro Z.

Which of the stallions would you recommend based on their bloodlines and why? Both stallions are 1.65m tall.

Your replies will be greatly appreciated.

You might get a response by posting links to your mare’s pedigree as well as those of the prospective stallions. The way you have stated the pedigrees is a little unconventional and not easy to follow.

Your mare sounds very nice. Best of luck with her!

Thanks for the reply. Here are the links to the mare and the stallion pedigrees:

I would make sure to cross her with a stallion that is known for producing a strong loin connection as Concordes (and Larinos) can be a bit weak in the back.

I personally would not line-breed on Landgraf I as he has a tendancy to produce overly straight legs in his offspring when linebred.

My pick would be Indoctro x Garitchou stallion. Garitchou comes from a very strong mare-line (Opaline des Pins) who has produced countless international show jumping offspring including Olympic Quintus. The Capitol I from the Indoctro will add rideability and I would think take a bit of that “Spook” away.
