I’m looking for good sayings about riding, but dressage in particular. It could be something about the sport, some inspirational saying, a piece of advice, words from a famous rider, or even something tongue-in-cheek.

I’ll throw my own out there. I had a epiphany moment years ago and it is the result
“Light off the leg, soft in the hand, ride the horse, and not the plan.”
