In Sussex County where I am… it’s mostly state police who are covering a large geographical area. The state police are stretched very thin. And the few town police forces seem to have a pissing match with the state police about town lines… it’s old world crazy up here for sure, with a kick the can down the road mentality.
Perjury is illegal.
As well as recording conversations in New Jersey if you are not one of the parties in the conversation.
True … but if someone were to plant a recording device in, say, another person’s office and record conversations they weren’t a party of, that’s still illegal even in a one-party consent state.
I believe that one-party consent only applies if the consenting party is part of the conversation being recorded.

Uhm. Who else would it be?
When you record a conversation, if you are not a party to the conversation (i.e., either MB or MHG), you’ve broken the law. Are you defending LK now? lol

Of course you’re breaking the law!
Which is what I was pointing out with my original comment. Why did you feel compelled to challenge my comment with your idiotic question in the first place? My comment was not a defense of LK.
What is my opinion of the Barisone Trial? Hmmm…
This trial has made me realize that despite my sincerest wish that some sort of karmic comeuppance would be divinely meted out, what ultimately matters inside the courtroom is The Law. And the application of The Law, with regards to this trial, seems rather imperfect right now. At least that’s my opinion.
As a bonus, though, at least now I know who to call if I somehow acquire a law office that needs some cleaning services, specifically vacuuming.
