What are your favorite youtube channels for riding instruction? I used to have a subscription to equestrian coach but if I can remember (it was 8 years ago), it was a little too upper level for me plus expensive so I let it go. If you have paid subscriptions and find it worth it please list them too!

Some of my favorite youtube channels are, Amelia Newcomb, Joseph Newcomb, Noelle Floyd, Claire Eventing, Jet Equitheory, Evention TV (already watched all the episodes and so wish they’d do more), Elisa Wallace, amd Holly Lenahan.

Of course none of these replace formal instruction and one on one experiences, but are good to pass the time and study on your own.

Like you, I enjoy watching Elisa Wallace (probably the most educational, especially with the mustangs and retraining principles) Amelia and Joseph Newcomb, and Holly Lenahan. JET’s delivery, in my opinion, is so juvenile that I can’t watch any more, even though I found her switch from eventing to clicker training interesting.
For ones you didn’t already mention, I enjoy Tina Wallace life on the left rein, they do vlogs of british eventing trials, and some clinics as well. Hackett Equine is fun to watch too, a lot of ups and downs with being a horse professional and she doesn’t shy away from that.

Elisa Wallace is a longtime favorite, but Olivia Towers Dressage is pretty wonderful! Hannah Lucy from Australia is a hoot. And while it’s not a specific YouTube channel recommendation, it can be an educational goldmine to find online videos of dressage/eventing clinics or masterclasses by exceptional instructors (Laura Graves is really good).

Doug Payne’s YouTube is pretty good with riding videos, and helmet cams (often including a voice over analysis explaining the ride). Also, RNS video and The Horse Pesterer are good ones to follow as they video at major events. I love the big water complex compilations they do - getting to watch 30-40 rides through one combination and seeing all the different types of combinations.

I like CRK training on YouTube myself thougj it’s very basic beginner type stuff so you’re probably beyond that. I really like the straight forward teaching style and thorough explanations and how they break stuff down. It helped me brush up on the basics after getting back in the saddle as a rerider.

These are my favorites. 1 & 2 are long, clinic type sessions while most of 3 are ~10 minute videos. Highly, highly recommend EVERYONE watch the Rutledge Farm Sessions & the H&C Masterclass videos, particularly 4 Years to 4* (Ros Canter), 50 & Not Out (WFP), and the two Ingrid Klimke sessions.

Many more out there; however, these are my go to videos when I’m looking for ideas. You’ll also quickly see that everyone does everything a bit differently so keep an open mind and don’t take everything you hear as gospel if it doesn’t work for you.
