Has anyone here bred to Zafferano? He looks like a fun type of horse in his videos, but I’m curious what he’s producing and what kind of mare he does best with. A search of the forums brought up a couple of older threads, but nothing recent.
We had a colt last year and are expecting another one soon out of the same mare
Monami, I would love to hear about your colt. What do think he added to your mare?
I can’t post pictures, but I’ve seen several of his offspring and they are REALLY nice. Of course, the mares were also very very nice, so I have no idea what he produces out of “lower quality” mares, meaning, how much help he needs from the mare. But given his pedigree, I suspect he does a good job all on his own :yes:
