Wondered if anyone knows of any Zarr offspring out there that are green prospects? I had leased a lovely mare by Zarr a few years ago, and she had the best amateur type temperament and was also a fantastic mover/jumper.
I’d love to find a prospect by him that is already started under saddle.
Anyone know of breeders that are using him?
If you like Zarr, you might also look for horses by his sire, Hennessey. He’s gone now but there are still some of his offspring out there. (I love mine!) Zarr’s full brother has also recently been approved but I don’t know whether he has many offspring on the ground. http://americantrakehner.com/Stallions/Zito.asp
Zarr currently stands in Virginia (owned by Daryl Stout). She may know of some.
You could also contact the farm that had him prior they may know of some of his offspring Warioto Farm in Tennessee. I have one of them she is 11 excellent mare I love her!
I have a couple sister to Zarr’s dam, and this dam line is superb… Hope you find what your looking for !
I sold one to a friend of mine up here in Ontario, Canada a couple of years ago. She sold her but I am pretty certain she knows where she is. She’d be 5-ish now I think?

I love my Zarr mare too! She is gorgeous, SO athletic and fun to ride. Good luck looking!
I have a couple from his dam line that are for sale. They have dressage training, one is 3/4th level with good changes 16 hand gelding, the other is 15.2 gorgeous gray mare 1st level, has had a really good foal. She takes up a lot of leg so her height is a little deceptive. Both are very good jumpers but have not done much of it. You can see them on my facebook page or website.
You may want to look at offspring by his brothers Zealous and Zito also.
I have liked what I have seen produced by Zealous.
I saw Zito at his ATA approvals. He was quite nice and a very sweet boy. :). A mare by him was also presented and she was a nice mare.

Yes! State College, PA. He was purchased by Lindsay Galloway that owned his full brother, Zito, who died recently. So pleased for her!
