I’m so excited about this cross. Fingers crossed for a filly!
$100 says it makes it’s $ on the grass. I’m still surprised they didn’t go with something even a little speedier. Even though MDO’s AWD is kind of short, most of his big time horses have been 1 1/8 types.

Now if I could just load up on troll-be-gone and the Flywatter of Smiting. Why does the stupid have to flock to Zenyatta’s Facebook page and ruin this for the rest of us fans with their whinging and moaning about “giving her a break” or somesuch drivel?
Surprised a bit they didn’t go back to War Front after loosing this year’s colt but MDO works for me (not that I am an expert on bloodlines and breeding

I posted earlier this year hoping they’d do that cross!
Seems like they’re using the scatter gun approach – breed her to the hot stallion and hope for the best.
MdO is a lovely horse and may be right for her, but even a medium class stallion who is a great cross would be my choice.
