Surprised this hasn’t been posted yet - Zenyatta foaled a big chestnut filly by Candy Ride today - looks nice! Fingers crossed she’s going to be a little better filly producer.

I’m sorry, but every time I see a picture of Zenyatta looking so happy in her pasture I remember all the wailing and pronouncements about how upset and sad she was going to be out to pasture and away from the track and all her fans, and how absolutely cruel it was to take her away from it all. Then I look at the above picture and chuckle.

@betonbill I know what you mean… love seeing the photos of the great race mares, filled out (ie, not racing fit), at pasture with their offspring or gently nuzzling their newborn. :love-struck:
