Zenyatta's little sis making her debut

Eblouissante running in the 4th race (MSW 3yr. olds and up) at Hollywood this Fri. 16Nov. Debuts without lasix, if anyone wants to get back into that conversation

Video of her last year while stables at HP.

I had heard she’d be running soon, but when a friend of mine talked to John Sherriffs, it had sounded like the 18th, so we made plans to go see her debut. But now I can’t because I have to work Friday, can’t take off because I took the Friday of Breeders’ Cup off. Sad-face. :frowning:

Just check Fri. morning to make sure they don’t scratch her. Ya never know!

High temp. Congestion. Upset stomach. Horsefever all right.

She’ll certainly will come into this debut with plenty of works: try 45 recorded works in the last 18-months

Yep, they certainly have been cautious with her. With that many works, I wouldn’t think there have been any physical hiccups. Maybe she’s just big and slow to mature.

Shirreffs likes to work them a lot before their first starts! He had a half sister to my broodmare and worked her about that many times before she started as well. I was hoping for some blacktype before the yearling sale and it was torture waiting for her to run!

Me. Screaming like a banshee when she hit the lead. Was in the win photo as one of her many fans.

I got home from work just in time to see the race…It was very exciting, very happy for all her connections.

For some reason I no longer have TVG or HRTV so I watched it on a blurry feed on my computer. Her blur looked like it made an impressive move past the rest of the blurs! I had both those channels last week.

I couldn’t tell how far back she was during most of the race, but she sure made a big move around the turn and was just blowing them away at the end. Very nice debut!

A big late moving filly with powerful turn of foot …you’d think she was related to Zenyatta :winkgrin:
