Heartwarming story about a losing racehorse. Looks like the book will be an interesting read.
Thanks for the link Sammy. Emmy and Marisa are wonderful people who are phenomenal horse women. I hope they enjoy the book about the horse whose story is a metaphor for acceptance and resilience and love!
Thanks and seems like a great book about an interesting horse. Just btw, Shammy, your suggestions occupy about 1/2 of one of the rows on my bookshelf.

Here is another suggestion that I know you and others will really love. Published in 2002, Nan Mooney’s “My Racing Heart” is a memoir of a woman’s passionate and heartwarming journey through the world of horseracing. It is the perfect read for you and others so involved in the racing industry. Check Abebooks or other used book sites for a copy that will cost only a few bucks but will be a treasure on your bookshelf.
Kewl and thank you! I found it on Amazon used, really inexpensively.
(Back when I was a stb groom, there was a nice bay pacer in the barn named Racing Heart, actually.)
Aw man, thanks for this. I read in the comments of some website awhile ago someone suggesting jokingly that Zippy Chippy needed a movie and I remember thinking that was actually a really cool idea, he’s had an interesting career. A book comes close!
