$100,000 Equitation Class at WEC on 2/13/21, Video of Winner in Post 129

Is the music being played only on line, or does the audience get to hear the non-stop Country Western “tight jeans, parking lot party, when I lay you down and luv u” crap?
I can’t imagine what with Safe Sport and a pile of junior riders competing tonight that this is the official choice of adults who are paying for this music feed.

Tough break for Schuyler there… couldn’t quite get the trot fence done. I initially thought that might be a soft question for a second round, putting the trot fence so early in the course, before the horses had really built up a head of steam. But after watching a couple rounds… that’s a short-ish line off a decent oxer. Tougher than it looked at first glance.

It just occurred to me that some of the trainers have multiple kids in this round.

Imagine if one trainer swept all that prize money!

Riley Hogan had a great second round just now.

She has a good design of position and used it to effect in the first round. The horse looks very strong. Got away from her in the trot fence line.

Definite improvement on her first round. Thought she drove her horse at the 3rd jump and he dumped his front end causing the rail. She did a beautiful job in the test.

I agree. I didn’t mean it as a criticism of her. Just remarking that it was unfortunate that it happened because she’s put together some nice riding tonight.

Finnick (Zayni Rizvi) is one of my all time favorite horses

Any Given Sunday looks off on the white hind leg.

Yeah, she trotted in and I was like that does not look comfortable. Hope it’s nothing big.

He looked a happy camper at the job anyway.

I was just about to say that. Speaking of seasoned eq horses… Finnick is another one who’s been around the block and is still putting in fantastic trips.

 We’re on the same page. She rode well. It’s a shame she couldn’t quite get that trot back.

Riley Hogan redeemed herself in that test! GO ZONE 3!

Madeline Jordan’s horse looks done. She’s a lovely rider but he is exhausted.

Oh, Hensley Humphries just broke my heart a bit after a very nice entrance.

I think I would have jumped the jump, lead and all, but I didn’t see if the track got away from her or just the lead.

Absolutely. Better to jump the jump and not get the counter canter than to make a circle.

I think she got pretty far past her turn. Very unfortunate.

Natalie Jayne nailed that test! Beautiful hand gallop!

Lovely trip from Natalie Jayne. You could tell from the first canter stride at the in gate that she was on a mission. Lovely trot jump, landed the counter lead and held it for the counter canter fence, went and got the hand gallop fence and settled right back afterward. A lot to like in that round and Charisma always has such a beautiful expression.

Would very much be interested to hear your placings before the judging.
