$100,000 Equitation Class at WEC on 2/13/21, Video of Winner in Post 129

It’s not just you @skydy. The tails are bananas.

Did everyone see the one who lost its tail? The very first horse? Your tail might be too heavy when…

At first glance I thought Alexander might be riding Sam Walker’s previous mount Waldo. But I guess maybe they just have that many good gray equitation horses at North Run.

Extra unfortunate when you’re the first one, since everyone will be watching to see how the course rides!

1st: Dominic Gibbs
2nd: Grace Debney
3rd: Natalie Jayne
4th: Zayna Rizvi
5th: Riley Hogan

Well, @MHM called it!

Good work to the top 14!

Have yourself a year, Dominic Gibbs! Top 5 finishes at WIHS/USET/Medal Finals, won Maclay Finals, and now a big win here.

Thanks. I’ve had some practice! Lol.

Super class except for the very ill timed downpour during the awards presentation. At least the trainers had their big checks to use for cover. That was pretty funny.

Called that too!

Edit: I got faked out. Totally thought he was actually going to take it for a spin :joy:

He performed a Victory Turning On of the Lights, which is more than many drivers in my state can manage to do when it’s raining, so good work to the youth of America.

Hey, I called first place too.

You did! And good work to the Amateur With More Practice!

Nice that the sky waited till the last minute to pour down.

What a palatial venue. I have an inkling that they’ll do well.

AKA judge , yes?
I’m usually (but not always) wrong when I guess at placings. Dominic just looked the most forward , best looking trip. Not a perfect trip, but he just looked like the best rider.

I know that’s not all there is to it, and that’s why I’m not, and never will be ,even close to being judge material. :relaxed:

Is there anyway to watch replays without selling my soul to Clip Horse TV?

I signed up for the free thirty day trial and will cancel it before the first payment goes through.

Yes but, having heard about other peoples experiences, I am not willing to give them a CC number. Thank you though. :slightly_smiling_face:

I meant you! You said you’d been an amateur for a minute or two

If you sign up for Clip My Horse, be sure to read the contract carefully. They are based in Germany which apparently has different rules or conventions about cancellations.

I’m having trouble parsing this exactly but I remember a previous thread about this. I believe you have to give them a month’s notice to cancel:

9.1 Memberships have a fixed term which is specified in advance and is automatically extended by the same order period unless the customer cancels four weeks before the end of the first order period via the corresponding function in the website’s customer menu or by email to support@clipmyhorse.tv.
