A friend’s Landkoenig mare had a Romantic Star colt last night. He is chestnut with some chrome. BIG.
The mother had the no. 1 RPSI foal in the country last year. Sire, Apiro.

8 weeks old and growing like a weed! Royal Senna (Rubinstein I/Airport) and Plaudit bred Appaloosa Sport Horse filly.

baby surpsrise is here!
Meet baby Walter.
So… last fall Wynona jumped her fence. Twice. out of the mare field and into Juniors…I went out to feed him at breakfast and found an extra head at the gate. Wynona had been vet checked. Twice. As not in foal. Mr. Baby Not In Foal arrived this am…a black colt with a large star and 3 tall white stockings. He is very down in his hocks/pasterns and has not found the milk bar yet. Have a bottle of colotrum in the freezer so am disinfecting the baby bottle and holding off on defrosting the colostrum QUITE yet…will give him a little bit more time to figure it out on his own. Wynona is beeing an attentive teenaged mother (she is only 3).

Walter did manage to find the milk bar eventually/phew.

he is 1/4 Hannoverian, 1/8 Paint (looks like 1/4 on PQ as grandma is a Paint…but she is a Paint that is nearly half TB herself), and 5/8 TB. He will go to the AWR inspection in October if they have one this year at Tasker’s farm like the did in years past.
It’s a boy!!
This boy was born just over a week ago. He is by Apex Farm’s Liebriez (CSHA
approved trak. stallion) out of Wanda Carl’s On Tap (CWHBA approved arabian
mare). Congrats go to Wanda Carl. He is tentatively named Goliath.
Joy McKinnon and Dennis Karas of Karrasel in Spy Hill have a boy child out
of their CWHBA Approved arabian mare Kora May by Apex’s Oberon (CWHBA approved KWPN). I also understand he is a large child, and bay.
Congrats also go to Vanessa Senko and
Vince Ethier, Prince Albert, J 2 Farms, on the birth of a lovely Filly by
Oberon out of the imported mare Roxy (KWPN ).
Still waiting for photos of those two kids.
