2011 FOAL ANNOUNCEMENTS HERE

Here’s Qharabelle (Quaterback-Donnerhall) at her OHBS-GOV inspection at HP Hanoverians. She was tired from a very long day of traveling and being in a new place, so she didn’t show her true gaits but she handled everything perfectly. And her new owner is thrilled with her:)! She will be headed to Canada in Oct.

mlcoursin - she’s looking so grown up! Just lovely.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

After the longest foal watch in history, my Arab eventually decided that she would give birth…

She was certainly ready

and at just after 2am on 9/11 my Angel came into the world, bay filly, with chrome, just what I ordered.

Good Lord the filly is HUGE (compared to mamma) and so filled out for being a newbie!

How long did mamma hold out?

Thank you. We certainly hope so!
I’ve wanted a Cardento foal for a long time, and to get one from an elite mare with Sacramento Song XX as well is such a bonus.[/QUOTE]

And a more recent pic, now ~ 3 months

Just received word that my mare delivered a lovely filly at 2:10 this morning.
Gwenhwyvar (Cantos x Indorado x Fedor x Notaris) is a bay with a blaze and four whites! Mom and baby girl are both doing well.

An update on Gwenhwyvar - she received her first premium at a very large keuring in Holland back in August (we were soo proud!).
Here she is at 3 months old https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/293417_10150812717475014_599515013_21145994_102627577_n.jpg

Just a little bit of jumping blood in there then…

eniskerry, if he goes missing… looks innocent

Eniskerry - a flashy bit of goods isn’t he? Lovely.

Thanks! I’m pretty pleased with him. He was “cute” as a foal, but he’s really been growing into himself over the past month or so.

Eniskerry, what a goregous boy! A very smart looking little fellow.

Just received photos of our last foal of 2011 Grenache S (by Chello III VDL) at the KWPN-NA Keuring in FL.

The first “second generation” foal bred by Sakura Hill Farm, he was imported and purchased in utero.

Photos taken at 3 months 3 weeks of age:

MCS - Oh he’s lovely! The epitome of refinement and class.

Thank you Kerole! We are just smitten with this colt and know that he will go on to make his new owner very proud!

Here is a video of “Remy” taken at the Keuring

Comet Surfer: Chairman x Comet Swinger

Thursday night, we had our last foal of the year born. He is by Chairman out of an OTTB mare Comet Swinger (who is by Comet Shine, the sire of Becky Holder’s Corageous Comet). We are thrilled with him although, of course, he is the one baby we really wanted to be a filly so, of course, he was the one baby who is a colt… But, he is healthy and Mom and baby are well so we’ll take that! His 2 y/o brother, Comet Royale, out of the same mare but by Royal Appearance has been reserve champion for his age group at the Future Event Horse Championship in 2010 & 2011.

p.s. As an aside, we could not figure out why we were suddenly being followed on Twitter by two shall we say ADULT groups…then we realized it was after we posted about having a new baby by Comet SWINGER… I don’t think they are going to get what they were looking for following our posts…

LOL, love his little expression!!

I just had to post 2 pictures of mine since I finally managed to get good lighting a little help - it’s really, really difficult to get pictures when 4 horses are following you around the field as fast as you can walk or run

6 months, sorta-confo shot, his hind legs really aren’t that wonky lol

He and Mr JB (who is 6’1" for perspective) love each other

Showing off his Miss Clairol hilites

And just a fun shot

Hello! I am new to this forum, though I’ve been quietly stalking it for ages, only now have I joined. Oops! Anyways, at the barn that I manage, they had to fillies, a purebred Arabian and a half-Arabian. I’ll only post the purebred though, because the other filly sold last week. She was born April 24, 2011. I was lucky enough to be the first one to touch her as her dam would not let anyone near! I feel very blessed.
