Supposedly SuddenBreakingNews is a double cryptorchid–that is, neither of his testicles descended. A single cryptorchid would be a colt with one descended and one undescended testicle.

The links from the previous poster give the definitions. A cryptochid means the horse has only one viable testicle, the other was retained (never dropped) and was surgically removed, hence there is no “double cryptochid”.

This is incorrect. A male with one testicle descended is a monorchid; a male with no testicles descended is a cryptorchid.
Thank the good Lord that he or she made colts to run on legs, not their balls. Balls are designed to be rolled, thrown, kicked, caught, and hit. If anyone of those happened to a colt before a race they would be in such pain they’d be scratched. Besides it is possible that SBN is a filly. It appears his connections might not be too bright and anything is possible.
Wow. Frosted was explosive in the Met Mile! I didn’t see that coming.

That was pretty fun to watch!

I was thrilled. He looked like he was on top form! A beautiful race for him.
How about Celestine? Bill Mott has five winners on the day. Maybe the NYRA is confused. Looks like Distaff day at Belmont.
Good for Tom’s Ready too.
What is up with that horse Grand Tito in the Woodford Reserve? He has some gate issues and some other issues. He literally sat down in the gate on Preakness day last year with Victor Espinoza up, then on Preakness day this year was hit by flying debris, panicked and fell down, and then acted up in the gate again today in the Woodford (though this year it was Divisadero they removed from the gate). Today wasn’t so bad comparatively, but it’s like Grand Tito pops up during the classics to remind us he’s as fractious as ever.
Exaggerator
But an exciting finish!
Lani is such an enigma of a horse. If he had started moving a little earlier, he might have caught them at the end. He must be incredibly frustrating to train.
Nice effort by Creator, though.
What a nice run from Creator to get up there!
Was impressed with the run from Lani to nab 3rd.
One of these days he may show us just how good he is
Finish was a bunch of greys LOL
Go Lani! That crazy sucker actually looked like he might do it!
Nice race!

Yup, he looked like he was moving around/before the turn, and then backed off, and it seemed like the jockey had to fight him pretty hard to make him turn it back on. I think he had a shot at winning if he’d kept it on - the stretch run was really very nice, he was starting to roll right through. The 3rd was still impressive considering his start though. He looks pretty content to lag behind and let the others fight it out. A really nice but very frustrating horse to train, I think - he seems capable of much more than he shows.
Beautiful run from Creator, and of course I love Irad Ortiz Very happy for him. Not a fan of Steve Asmussen, but what are you going to do? He has a nice horse (and jockey).
Kent D stops riding again.
How he gets away with that crap…
Missed the race. Poo. Would have been rooting for E again; but Lani did quite well this time (on the replay).
Yikes! All those very expensive watches getting wet–!
Let me rephrase my PO. The winner is Creator. Very nice trip. Talk about Lani. In all the TC races, he finished well at the end.
My excuse for SBN is that he was depressed having gone through the trial of finding out his gender identity was in question just before the big race. What horse could deal with this and perform at his best?
SD,
Go Creator! I had the exacta!!!
Drinks are on Flash!
