No, there wasn’t one in the race. As I recall, it was an allowance race. The colt I picked was by More Than Ready. He was near black and walked into the paddock braided, strutting, and shining like a mirror. It was an easy choice.

I can see where that would be hard to resist. The grooms work so hard, and the very dark horses aren’t easy.
