Love Woods’ horse, even with the mistakes!! What a cutie! And Woods is a lovely soft rider.
He really is a lovely rider.
i didn’t realize how big C’EST LA VIE 135 is…17.2
And fancy, too. He made Elisa’s horse look plain Jane…
Elisa put in a really nice test, though.
Such a nice and flowing test by Elisa! Just lovely.
I liked Let it be Lee…he looked lovely out there. He is shutting down those TB stereotype comments lol I’m so over people thinking TBs cant be nice movers (not you, the commentators)
Is it just me or is Fleeceworks Royal short striding on the right hind in the walk? Hope not but I keep seeing it.
looks pretty solid behind through the rest of the test from what I can see.
I’m not sure. I thought the walk was a bit tight, and there were a few incipient head tosses.
Just finished and yes, I am seeing that short stride on the RH.
Same, seeing it on the exit too. I agree he did look fine at the other gaits and the changes didn’t show any favoritism. Fingers crossed it’s just his normal.
Just to clarify since it’s not accurate (doesn’t match with USEF registration info)
Ebay is listed as being born in the USA and his breeder is based in California. “Escudo” is listed as the sire, but that’s a touch incomplete.
My horse “Cudo” is by Escudo I. Escudo II, Escudo I’s full brother, stood in California. “Escudo 19” is another sire that’s a full sibling to 1 and 2. Also the dam’s name is “Komtessa” not “Contessa” and she is by Levantos II.
On Horsetelex he’s listed as a son of Escudo I. And the mare is a 1995 model, makes me wonder if they used embryo transfer. If not god love a 24 year old broodmare still producing. Quite the nice son too.

My mare is by Escudo 2, and I was really excited to see a horse by E1 in the lineup! Any links to photos of him?
(When I googled Ebay, no matter how many different qualifiers I put in it did not get me to the right place- not surprisingly - lol!)
I missed his dressage test unfortunately, so will try to catch it later when they download it to rewatch.
Thank you. That is very important info so please, I always appreciate a correction @Xctrygirl
I love MP as a commentator but a small gripe I have is the impression she is not the biggest fan of them. She has said a few comments already, things like “doesn’t look like a normal TB” or “doesn’t move like a normal TB” that make me think they are not high on her roster. I look at a horse like Let It Be Lee and think he is the quintessential representation of a thoroughbred - especially his pedigree, Berstein sired fantabulous movers and anyone paying attention to event horse breeding should not find Broad Bush or In Reality strangers.
Agreed. I enjoy her too and I think she was the same last time she commentated about TBS haha.
It’s just that, TBs aren’t the crap movers people think. Sea of Clouds I would say is on the les nice mover scale for a TB, but he isn’t the norm. Sure they aren’t huge floaty warmbloods with natural rhythm, but they can float and move well in their own right. They don’t all move like sewing machines lol
Legit didn’t realize that was a rule lol. I mean I always wear gloves but never thought it was mandatory.
I found the following

Let’s go Pippa!!
I cannot get over how different – stronger and better – AP Prime looks this year, I was surprised by the score but he had a hard time with the changes.
Go Pippa!!
I’m loving this test. It’s really too bad there were monsters at A for the reinback. But she got him right back on track.
