The 9.5 was the extended walk. Other 9s we’re for the medium walk, L to R change, and collective mark. If you click on the points on the live scoring page, a breakdown will pop up.

Catching up now. Thanks for the tip that you can see individual scores if you click on the points! I have to say that I know judges can differ in their scores, but on the medium walk and extended walk DP got a 6.5 then 7.0 from one judge and a 9.0 and 9.5 from the other. That is a pretty massive difference on movements that should be similarly visible from C and B. Interestingly, they gave the exact same score (6.5) for the reinback and much closer scores for all other movements. Definitely interested to go back and watch his test.

I can always catch up on the rides I missed when I get home tonight, I guess! Meanwhile I will have to avoid all spoilers.

(Mr. Dr. D was teasing me yesterday when I was on a piece of exercise equipment with my laptop balanced on top of my upturned foam roller in front of me so I wouldn’t miss anything )

Why do all the volunteers walk with their hands behind them, as if they were under arrest?

For the volunteers opening and closing the gate at A, that’s what I was told to do when I had that role in a couple of FEI classes at the NEDA Fall Festival once. I had a chair that I could sit on well back from the arena in between gate work.
