Clean slate for this round.
Alex seems to struggle with pace a bit in general. He pulled and added at the beginning with Mac and then galloped the second half. He’s so good but I don’t know if he’s been as consistent as the others. I love watching medals season every year bc I enjoy seeing them all grow and improve. I’ve enjoyed watching both Taylor and Augusta grow in their styles over the years, and I respect the work! I’m rooting for one of them
That’s good. Luke and Alex were pretty far ahead on the points, so would have been hard to catch.
Thought Taylor did great on Freedom! He definitely seems to be the toughest of the 4 horses for this round but I thought she handled it really well.
How tall is Alex’s horse? Augusta looks tiny on him.
Taylor rode freedom really well! Tough horse it seems
Jamaica seems like such a good egg.
I love watching Luke and Jamaica, it always seems so relaxed and effortless between the two of them.
In my unqualified opinion I like Augusta’s rides best. That said, I seldom make the same choice as the judges.
They are all lovely riders.
I believe Augusta was the only one that didn’t have a hard rub or a rail.
Augusta is a lovely, natural rider who makes the horses relax and jump their best. She may not have the perfect equitation body, but she’s worked hard to really polish her rides and makes every round look effortless.
It’s not easy for a small person to ride a big horse like Jamaica and she rode him well.
Congratulations Augusta! Well deserved win!
Alex 4th
Taylor 3rd
Luke 2nd
Augusta 1st !!!
All 4 of the top 4 rode beautifully.
I agree with the placings.
I missed literally half of the top 4 rides but seems like it worked out okay lolol
Big congrats to Augusta
Looks like you and the judges agree this time!
I’m really glad she won!!! I much prefer her style over some of the others.
I think it was an obvious choice this time. I’ll pat myself on the back now since it won’t happen again during the indoor season.
Augusta rode each horse as it needed to be ridden, and with such composure. I’m glad that she won. A very well deserved win.
She is such a beautiful, talented, soft rider! She has such a sympathetic way of riding and you can just tell she sets the horses up for success!!
After what you did to Quimby you’re not allowed to watch.
I missed the entire final round because at some point I needed to ride my own horse. He disagreed, and thought I should have spectated instead. I’m glad it sounds like they all settled themselves well and we don’t need to armchair quarterback for a week about it!
I’m happy for Augusta. Horses seem to really like her and that shows in a class like this.
