I wish Katelyn had committed to keeping a little more of that hand gallop, but there was a more definitive step on the gas pedal than we’ve seen so far.

I liked Shipman off the right to the first jump. Welcomed a nice right arc to fence 2. Give us the hand gallops though!

Grace Sappington’s horse reminds me a bit of Uno.
Personally, I would much rather have them include the horse’s name on the screen rather than the rider’s hometown.

Forte with an inside turn 2 to 3, I wonder how many we’ll see try that too (maybe at the expense of showing the hand gallop).
I think Adriana tried to hold that lead to the 1 stride, rather than “not getting the change,” and I also think that was a bad choice with that turn being 90 degrees.

Beautiful riding here. These rounds are inspirational. Not all perfect, but really great examples. Especially at this point of this mega marathon! Congratulations to all of these riders.
