The riding itself aside, I’ve always been curious how trainers prepare their inexperienced students for such a LONG slog of a day with waves of pressure. That’s not something you can really simulate at home.

I understand that it’s tradition for male riders to remove their helmets during awards… but with all the freak accidents we’ve seen over the years I wish they would just keep the helmet on

I don’t know about today, but I know within the last couple of days there was frost on the ground in the morning and it was 28°.
That was the right top 5. I personally prefer Eleanor’s style, but Carlee rode beautifully all day (every day) and is a most deserving winner. Big congratulations to everyone today!
