I would think they have a pretty good plan in mind ahead of time. And then I think in the interest of fairness, they have to do exactly the same thing with all three groups.

Oh, I know they have to apply the same test to all groups. I just mean before they start the flat phase if they confer and say “Maybe X test wasn’t in our original plan but we’d really like to see it”, or if it’s already pretty set in stone.
This group has a little more color.

I have to say I’m happy to see a flat phase that looks like hunter seat equitation. Not over flexed equitation.

Couldn’t see who it was but someone looked like they were four beating the counter canter. Maddie also seemed to do a nice job managing her space and setting herself apart from the traffic.
I’m laughing at the fact that Ariana Forte was so prepared that the announcer did not even get to finish his phrase before her horse was cantering on the inside lead.

Bravo to the North Run riders for crossing over your stirrups. I can’t believe none of the other trainer’s had their riders do the same.

Ariana is lovely on the flat. As is Adriana. Taylor and Maddie are just gorgeous to watch.

I do like the way they do it now with just eight in each group for the flat. It might take a few extra minutes, but it’s much easier to really keep track of all of them and get a good look at everybody.
