2024 Maclay Final Thread

My point exactly! She was a junior pro and had a (dirty) stop in the second round both times. But there’s life after equitation.

Nice ride by Rylynn.

Rylynn killed it! Love that horse :unicorn:

Hands off, y’all he’s mine!

You can have him. I don’t want to scrub that. You can do all the work, and the rest of us will get to look at him.

Really good recovery there by Olivia after her horse tripped in that line.

It was.

Ditto. I’ve done my gray time and currently have his black 2’6" counterpart :unicorn:

It was. But as monster as her horse’s stride is, that might have even helped her a little.

I’m going to dye him my favorite color - plain bay.

Oops. Not what Maggie wanted at the end.

Yeah, I don’t do gray. It’s because of the melanomas, really, but it’s also because they were all born wanting to be pintos.

Aw, bummer way to end for Maggie King. Horse looked like he really stung himself- hope he’s all right.

Definitely not. That was too bad.

He will do that himself if we ever get any rain. Just put him out in the back field without a sheet on.

Ariana got a little lucky with those rubs on a couple of jumps. Very nice round.

I thought Ariana’s horse looked a bit tired… I don’t blame him!

It’s almost as if, for some of the riders the 7 stride is getting in their heads and they’re going under pace all through the course.

A little bit, yeah. He wants to have a big nap and rub shavings all over himself.

That’s the one I really want to take home. I’m a fan.

And here comes Kate Hagerty blazing in

So is Kate the older Hagerty sister?
