WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP Brooke Hagerty, who showed such a masterful understanding of her horse’s stride- came in purposefully, just quietly melted back and forth, made the 7 look like it was supposed to be that way, and came down to the final fence like she meant it. Attagirl!

Regretfully, when you are a working student, you make the horses and they make you. Goes both ways in about equal measure.

Yep. Them’s the breaks. Anyone remember what happened to Havens Schatt - twice - at Harrisburg when she was on top?
I don’t off the top of my head.
But she is still showing and doing well all these years later, which just shows that a bad day at the finals does not define you as a horseperson.
