If the leg is appropriately stable, then the leather stays still underneath of it because it’s pinned against the saddle, which limits the movement of the stirrups.

As we now know to expect from Bobby Murphy, wonderful course design this weekend. I particularly appreciate the 5ab-6ab and 8-9-10 turns. It’s enough of a test to let the riders who are really in tune with measuring the track ride to the top, but it’s not inviting a disaster. Hoping that the distances are posted at some point.
