I’m not sure I liked his first turn through the gap. It was smooth, but a bit odd.

I liked Christian’s a lot. I like that he didn’t bang the horse straight to the halt but let him canter away and softly, sympathetically said “hey let’s pause a minute here.” The inside turn was well done.
