Well, this is perfect timing! I just had a lesson and stopped after untacking to check the standings. I have just enough time to put my horse away and grab a beverage!
Well, I got stuck in traffic on the way home, then spent the entire break troubleshooting my chromecast, which hasnāt been working all day. Itās decided it will only take input from my husbandās phone. And he doesnāt care about medal finals. Back to the laptop!
Regrettably Emi Richard has a stop, but addresses the rest with good style. I havenāt seen her ride much since last year. She looks great!
She has to be young too, so I think she has several more years.
Emiās horse forgot his fake tail!
Yes she does. Sheās matured a ton in her use of her position, and she clearly has mental game to be able to handle the stop and re-presentation with such composure.
It got braided into his barnmate. There are a couple who have looked like AQHA nationals out here with their big fat obviously fake tails.
I thought Anna Markcrow had a lovely round minus the break. Gutted for her that happened.
Second round course is winning.
And as soon as I say that, a lovely trip from Adriana Forte.
The inside turn is there! Now someone needs to do it a little more smoothly- that produced a little helter skelter for the next four jumps- but Capri throws down the glove!
Capri Truesdaleās round was really slick. Tidy inside turn and found the combo moving forward.
Just got back from clipping in time to catch Capri Truesdaleās second round. Just gorgeous, and I really really love that horse!
I thought the first half of Capriās trip seemed a little rushed and the inside rollback not very smooth. The second half was quite nice though.
And man that horse was there for her!
And only 15 years old - capri really laid it down! Man I love HH Moonshine.
I donāt think the course is winning but I do think itās a proper test.
That was a bummer rail for Schuyler
Schuyler has such classic American forward seat hunter style. Love the way she just melts her horse forward and back.
