Yes, tying up makes sense. He could have PSSM or it could be mineral electrolyte imbalance. Absolutely no chance that Cereal knows about salt and minerals for horses

The video on TikTok was ambiguous.

If you havenā€™t watched, donā€™t. It will make you furious.

It looked more like colic, except for the weird sweat pattern. Iā€™ve never had a horse tying up that laid down, though Iā€™m sure itā€™s happened.

Looked kind of classic for mild/moderate gas or impaction colic. Impaction colic is so, so likely given the level of care.

So giving Banamine, in this case, just gives the jerk enough time to get farther away from vet care before symptoms recur.

Why is he even taking people on trail rides using Pete? The poor horse is skinny and doesnā€™t even have a saddle that fits him. Why is he spending a few days in one place if he isnā€™t even giving the horses a rest?

Not so ambiguous is Asshatā€™s own post - mysteriously free of pics - on the subject.
This from the FB page:

ETA:
 Makes me wonder how many days of feed heā€™s making Pete pack at any one time.
& Does the load include feed for Falcon?
His Truthometer is in the Red Zone

Thank you for sharing that, I guess.

I decided against posting the pic of Pete down, still saddled.
Because it made me think very dark thoughts.

The horse is clearly not being fed enough food for his work level as he continues to lose weight. Either Cereal is lying about his feeding regimen or the horse canā€™t chew or the horse has a serious illness.

The FB page is disheartening to read.
Even sadder is Cerealā€™s disregard for the horses.
Pete is not looking like a horse that can survive much more of his ā€œcareā€.

I once watched an otherwise fit & healthy 6yo collapse & die from colic, after 2 rounds of dipyrone (in the 80s, before they stopped making it). Poor guyā€™s heart just gave out.
At least it was quick, even after hours of pain.
Am I wrong to wish the same for Pete? :disappointed_relieved:

I wonder how Asshat will explain Peteā€™s disappearance from this boolsheet adventure

Exactly. How is Pete getting 20 lbs. of forage a day? Who is weighing that? Where is it being distributed? All Iā€™ve seen is two scrawny horses either groveling for short grass or tied to some kind of half-assed picket line; no hay bags. And this is not even considering Falconā€™s feed.

I think Cereal is full of BS and just spews what he thinks he needs to say.

Oh, this piece of insight handed down by Cereal is just so damning:

ā€œHorses colic, you canā€™t prevent it. We deal with it and move on.ā€

What a cruel, sadistic little punk poser.

I hope when poor Pete passes to the Rainbow Bridge he comes back to haunt Cereal in his dreams.

Pete could be carrying a hefty parasite load too. We donā€™t really know much about his background but he looked poor when Cereal acquired him. And we know Cereal doesnā€™t know, or care, about the damage a gut full of worms is capable of causing.

Umā€¦ Heā€™d have to have a conscience first.
Missing from this POS Poser

It wouldnā€™t be good for his image if he has one of his horses die on him. Hopefully heā€™ll simply have to leave Pete with some nice rancher because he canā€™t go further.

I wonder if Pete colicked or just collapsed. Cyrilā€™s blasĆ© attitude is sickening. And thereā€™s no way those horses are eating as much as he says, unless he counts the days when he stuffs them full of random grain. When he posted the video of him feeding the horses half a carrot each, it looked to me like Pete couldnā€™t chew the carrot so that makes me doubly doubtful that heā€™s getting enough to eat.

Possibly also some additional development from pulling back on the rope attaching him to Falcon? Would that happen?

He seems to be very good at that ā€“ his one talent. Shmooze the locals and get a lot of free benes. Care for horses (I hope), open grain bags, places to stay, whatever.

Trying to remember ā€“ before he left Austin, how again was it that he was framing this trip? The cowboy in the wilderness ā€¦ itā€™s weird, I canā€™t remember the phrases because, well, he hasnā€™t repeated them recently. That I know of, I donā€™t follow his social media.

What ??? Taking people on trail rides ???

Honestly he is setting those horses up for a bad ending to this trip. Heā€™s been told that so many times.

ā€œHorses colic, you canā€™t prevent it.ā€

IMO that is a misleading statement, especially for people who donā€™t know about horse colic. Itā€™s true that colic is usually unexpected. But there are a lot of things that one can avoid as health hazards to horses. Things that could result in colic and a lot of other things.

He isnā€™t providing that kind of care. He isnā€™t putting the horsesā€™ welfare first. Horse people have been anticipating a range of health problems. Vets have been warning him.

Iā€™ll bet ulcers are in the picture as well, by this point. Donā€™t know of course, but it would be expected from the way those horses are being treated. Including the constant changes of location, along with everything else.

Another perspective is that Pete shouldnā€™t be working like this at all. Or Falcon.

Neither horse was selected because of their innate qualities and characteristics to be up for this work. They were available at the right price ā€“ that seems to have been the selection criteria.

Pulled this from the_mare_stare account that was linked in an above post.

Possible new location, just posted on the account.

This post is dated ā€œ3 daysā€ ago, so posted estimate Thursday June 8th.

From the_mare_stare post dated June 2nd. The icon upper left - could this be from Knucklehead himself?

Hmmm. These horses are not at SPCA seizure level of thin in say a pasture or range horse coming off a hard winter. However they have zero muscle or top line for work and look generally unhealthy and poorly. They are not at all fit for the task of long distance riding and are clearly struggling physically.

We can hope Cereal sits on a nest of chiggers, twice in one week and eats a meal that disagrees with his gut. The only way those horses will get rest is if he becomes incapacitated.

That photo of him sitting on the bench in Idaho makes me want to slap that drink out of his hand. He is just disgusting in so many ways. Yet Iā€™m beginning to think heā€™s embracing the notoriety, and actually reveling in it.

Not for a moment do I think he ā€œlovesā€ either of those horses, either. In a way, I think he has come to resent them. The fact that so many people are focused on the horses and not on him probably irks him to no end.
