I don’t believe his fanbase has the numbers to draw any sort of crowds to see these horses.

I was doing a last check of mare_stare and she apparently had a live update about an hour or so ago. Most of it was the information already posted above.
She did say that LE has told him ‘no more riding’ for the time being, and they may be requiring him to camp in one place and are observing. And he was given a ticket for their condition? No details on that. This is her verbal, not sure how solid this info is.
Pete’ right hock is swollen. Pete doesn’t want to put weight on it. Apparenly this is where Bozo told LE that he has to beat Pete to keep him moving on that hock.
She said that he apparently galloped on the road to escape the followers who had caught up with him. He did take off for a rough side route across country, as a short cut to his destination for the day.
And yes, as said above, when he told LE he was taking the horses to a vet, it wasn’t for their welfare but for a PPE. Not sure when that is scheduled.
Bozo wanted to reflect the Old West – I think. Anyway, cowboys on long journeys in the Old West learned the hard way to put the horse first. If you do well by the horse, the horse can do well by you. The video linked below has horrendous photos of the horses. Also, apparently Bozo has yet to learn “No foot, no horse.”

The mare stare’s latest post says he’s fleeing the scene, from Couer d’Alene, Idaho, in a trailer (with photo of truck and trailer) going east on I-90 towards Montana, which is backwards. Also says he’s talked about dumping Pete and getting another horse.
I cannot hate him more.
That alleged PPE is probably pure BS.
I hope like heck the vet visit is at least true.
LiarLiar knows he’s failed in his “quest” & is fleeing the scene of the crime(s).

I knew it all wasn’t going to end this easy but I was hopeful.

This solves his ‘sheriff’ LE problem. He’s left the jurisdiction. There are no more eyes on these horses. There is no one telling him to not ride until a vet has seen the horses.
And maybe he’s backtracking because he has learned that Washington is aware and waiting for him to put a stop to this, and expose his treatment of the horses? Turn this from a triumph to an expose’? Possibly he’s ‘running away’? No inside knowledge, just a wild guess.
But – leaving an area that had eyes on him, with LE involved, is a step backward for any hope of getting help for the horses.
Does he have even one on-board follower left? Would any follower not see this for what it is … NOT a vision quest? But an egomaniacal abusive stunt? An elaborate exercise in grifting for a living?
“Getting rid of Pete” ??? How does this resonate with “the followers” – if there are any?
He has zero empathy for those horses. Of course that’s been on display since this started. But it gets worse and worse.
A trailer ride is painful for sore-footed and lame horses. They have to keep shifting their weight on their feet to balance. They can’t lie down and relieve the weight on their feet. (If they do lie down in a trailer, it is probably beyond serious.) If one or both of those horses already has severe foot pain – and I’m guessing that’s the case – it is a nightmare for them. Maybe this is why the drugs – maybe some hope of some pain relief? But it could be other things as well.
All I can say positive is that at least they aren’t carrying 160+ lbs of psychopath.
Given the photos coming out over the last couple of days, does he really think now that any “arrival” scene isn’t going to be a horror, not a triumph? That even people who are not knowledgeable will see the terrible condition of those horses and be asking about it?
We can only wait and see if this is a temporary side-track, or a permanent collapse of his whole stupid scheme.
I think we’ve all seen hoof abscesses where the horse is in so much pain that they lie down. They’re in agony.
If the horses are “drugged” I’m guessing it’s bute? Which would do next to nothing for an abscess.
Whoever came to rescue Dipshit with a truck and trailer is complicit in this abuse. Their only chance for redemption is to convince him to give it all up. Yet the way things are going, I doubt that’ll happen.
I don’t just want those horses seized - so he can’t make money selling them - I WANT HIM IN JAIL.
Somewhere they give long sentences for animal abuse.
As long & harsh as possible, given that most jurisdictions don’t have severe penalties for animal (or child) abuse.
It looks as if a keen lameness vet could have done a very thorough exam last night, at last it would have been definite, plenty of evidence to take the horses away from him. That’s probably why he ran like a bunny rabbit – back to the closest area where LE gave him a pass more than once.
Unfortunately, as some of us predicted all along, the horses would have to be at the point of collapse for this to happen. And if the reports are correct, those poor horses may be suffering enough to be getting there now.
He’s now posted to his stories that Pete has a stone bruise and that he’ll be taking at least a week off.

Falcon almost certainly has the same. And both probably in all four feet. They are probably barely walking. Very clearly limping on every foot.
And he is going to hide them to keep people from filming them, at the walk.
If any sheriff saw them now and heard his story about the long-distance ride … yeah, bad things would be likely to happen. Bad for him! Good for the horses.
So he will hide. We probably won’t hear more for many days. ??? Maybe ever ??? A good time to just disappear?
When I was a kid we ran some horses on a hard-surface country road. Probably a half-mile at a brisk-canter / gallop (we were stupid kids who didn’t know, no one had warned us because it didn’t occur to an adult that we would do that). Those horses were 100% stone bruised in all 4 feet. It was WEEKS to heal. And they could barely walk for days.
And we didn’t go for an hour on a highway.
It is terrible that the horses are having to live through this. And that there were so many chances to intervene if only the laws – and the training of the LE officers who encountered him – had been sufficient to allow intervention.
This situation is an indictment of the entire horse welfare system in these states. That these horses have to be collapsing, have to be barely able to stand and walk, to get serious attention, much less intervention. Just imo.
I shudder to imagine what these poor horses’ internal foot structures look like. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they’ve got coffin joint inflammation, just to name one thing.

Is someone in authority, like an actual equine vet, going to determine when (or if) the horses are sound enough to continue? Or is Dipshit merely counting off a week on the calendar and then whomping on them to get them going once more?
Sadly, I think we know the answer to this.
If they were even seen by a vet or qualified person at all, or just “diagnosed” by whoever’s pasture/field they’re in, or maybe a neighbor of theirs.
Mr. Wonderful, Mystical Old-Timey Cowboy doesn’t seem to have made many friends in the “knowledgeable horsemen” segment of the population that he can call on in times like this.
He rode his horses into the ground before his great finish.
He’ll come up with an attention-seeking way to force a great finish. The horses will not have first consideration.
If a sale holds up, that might solve the horse problem — except that he still needs his great finish visuals.
Hopefully even this Ratsass understands that beating the horses to make them hobble to the finish is not a great video to carry him into the future.
Our hopes have been dashed before. He and/or his team don’t seem to understand the optics of animal abuse, or even what constitutes animal abuse, just that some people have been “harassing” him and they’re not all that hard to avoid or lie to.
No, I don’t really see the animals’ condition as something they’ll see as a detriment to the expected triumph, fanfare, and general adulation expected at the spectacular Finish, which his legions of fans have been oh so eagerly waiting for.
What I don’t understand, is how the DUCK (insert proper word here) was he able to our run LE at a canter for an hour on the road dragging Pete who is most likely 3 legged lame on top of how over-all sore the two horses are. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN???
How was he able to rendezvous with a truck and trailer and high tail it back to MT? All the while, out running the cops?
He just gets a high off of that. He’s an outlaw cowboy!! YYYYHEEEEAAHHHH!
Also, how is he able to still be in the US? He is Canadian. Doesn’t he need a visa, or work permit or something? and if not, why does the US allow that? Yet, other states (FL I am looking at you) are shipping South American, Central Amercian and Carribean immigrants out of state who are looking for a soft landing to take care of their families. This is a rhetorical question, I don’t want an answer.
I hope his passport expires or he gets blacklisted into be able to come back.
