All I can say is WOW
But I guess there are people like that everywhere. On a much smaller scale, a couple of years ago I saw the picture of what seemed to be an adorable filly. Even though she was located on the other side of the country, I sent an inquiry on her.
Within the hour I received a call from the “agent” informing me that the filly was sold pending vet check so I thanked her and thought nothing of it.
That very afternoon, the “agent” called back telling me the “owner” had said first money takes the horse so the fact the filly was AT the vet getting an exam paid for by a prospective buyer wasn’t important.
According to the agent, if I really wanted her I needed to send them an immediate wire transfer for the purchase price and they would have faxed me a bill of sale.
Now, 1) I hadn’t even seen the horse, just a really cute picture and
2) If the horse is at the vet getting PPE either these people are lying to me about the pending sale or the horse is not passing the vet check and finally
3) even if the horse passed ther vet check with flying colors and I really wanted her I would NEVER EVER conclude a sale like that. Not only I didn’t know these people from adam but I would have felt like I was stealing this horse from the guy who had the vet check done.
Perhaps these “Virginia Sport Horses” people just figured out a way to take gullible people for a ride on a larger scale. Still… WOW:eek:
Upon Full Payment
You will receive a bill of sale and a receipt. If you would like to have a coggins certificate, it is provided free of charge, but all information tracing the horse to the ranch will be removed. Horse transportation will be arranged only following receipt of full payment of all charges.
Why is that?
OMG!!! Stop it!!!
God knows…maybe they don’t want to be liable for something. Someone should send them a link to this discussion. Maybe they’re realize how crazy they are!!!
In the first video clip he jumps out of the pen??? Vey obvious this horse is doing some bad things, right as the cut away.
HAHAHA    I’m dying!
I love how the gray can jump 4’ but you can only see a video of him jumping cross rails…hmmmm…note to VSH, jumping out of the pasture once is not a good indicator of his grand prix abilities
Edited to say I was talking about this gray http://virginiasporthorses.com/produ...roducts_id/704 and hadn’t yet been privileged enough to see the aforementioned gray jump out of the arena…
it just keeps getting better!
I haven’t read the whole thing but, I was browsing and came across this horse, Fawkes, he is cute, but the video description says “(note…pay attention to the last frame as he calmly exits the 4”‘6’ arena…LOL)" so jumping out the of the ring is a good thing?
Oooh, I can’t take anymore… I’m trying so hard to laugh silently so I won’t give myself away at work… Is jumping out of the arena the only way they could prove his jumping “ability”, or is this a tried-and-true training technique and I’m the last to know?!? Gives a whole new meaning to free lunging. Guess it solves the mystery of how the accidental breedings might occur. I really want to email them some “serious” inquiries just to see what their replies are, but I don’t know that I should encourage them… Seriously though, aren’t horses wonderful? They put up with so much BS from crazy humans!
I can’t remember where I saw an ad for this place or talked to someone somwhere along the line, but I know I have talked about this place with one of my foxhunting friends and they swore by the horses and such, I went to the site and was like are you kidding me??? I do know these people try to market towards getting foxhunters to by “those safe and sound draft x wonders!” Well anyways, I actually recognized one of the horses and the descriptions fit a few of the horses I knew that were going through the farm I got my PMU foals from, but I’m sure if the breeder’s knew about these people they would be appalled!!
And I get grief from people for not sending horses out on trial…
OH MY GOD.
I am speechless. Really.
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE??? They are clearly insane.
I’m so baffled. WTF?!?!?!
Yes, it does. I was always SO glad in school that I was not one of the kids with that address. Of course, Cuckoo (pronounced just how you think, Koo-Koo) is RIGHT next door to Bumpass
I too have seen this persons actual website~ I had to laugh, wonder how many people actually even go…
Yeah, for sure my comment would be
What did YOU snort for breakfast!??
Well, as a native and a proud Louisa County High School graduate , I must say I’ve never heard anyone pronounce it Loo-eye’-sa, except possibly in jest. Always been Louise-a to everyone I knew.

The saddest part of it is that some of them look like decent horses. I’m a fan of draft X’s and see some cute ones on there. No one in their right mind would look at them though. Thus nice horses in bad hands awaiting 'liquidation."

maybe it’s not real?
Maybe it’s just a bad joke?
It’s so far over the top of reality that it makes me think it’s
A)a joke or
B)these farm owners are smoking weed. They must be high if they think that their business model is remotely respectable or professional?
AMAZING
 Can you say “buyer beware”???
Most of us selling horses try to treat our prospective customers nicely
Did anybody notice the little “Aaa!” noise whoever is filming makes as Fawkes jumps out of the arena- and then it cuts away? I’m betting he landed bucking like a moron or slipped and fell or hurt himself.
The part that amazes me is that most of the horses of that breeding can be picked up in a local auction up here for under $200, heck you can get a registered quarterhorse horse foal for $300! I imagine that must be what they are doing. Why would someone bother paying their fees?? I read through them and was lost on all the different fees about 1/4 of a way down the page. I think it is pretty ridiculus!
