Abusive photos from a Tom Olive clinic, Ocala, FL

Just spreading the word.

The horse he’s “laying down” is 18 years old per the original poster.

This picture on his own FB page is the same horse he’s abusing in the link above. Tied in the same spot. No doubt taken at the same time.

Spur marks on a horse he’s teaching to trot in place.

Ugh… What about any of that would make anyone think that that is an appropriate training method?

Too bad the horse didn’t rear up and whack that idiot’s head on the overhang. I can’t figure out what he is trying to accomplish.

Ok. Just read the post. That is sickening. How could you stand there and let someone do that to your horse?

What the He-double hockey sticks…

Who is this person? Never heard of him…

 These poor horses.

Stupid, Ignorant, Violet Trainer.

Stupid, Ignorant, Passive Owners that let this jerk near their horse.

Common sense isn’t so common.

I thank my lucky stars I was mentored by gentle, educated, successful horsemen - and can spot a charlatan like this from a mile away.

^^^^I agree^^^^

Training is not for me. I understand that there are times one has to take the upper hand in training and breaking a horse but I have never seen anyone use this method.

This guy makes me ill. Let’s ruin them in two days so someone else can spend the next twenty years trying to undo it.
On a side note: anyone else notice how lousy that poor horse’s knees are? Yikes!

I believe he’s in TX right now for the mustang makeover.
Horrible abuse.

How do people like that beast of a man still get training gigs? Those.poor.horses.

Well, the “friend” in the original post, wanted her horse “dead broke” in a weekend; so clearly, plenty of people are fine with fast and dirty.

But I suspect many, many, many just don’t know how bad his work is. Please spread the word.

He looks like a wannabe-cowboy yahoo. Ugh. Dumb women who are uneducated and afraid of their horses must clamor, I’m sure.

Someone needs to bring this to the attention of the Mustang Heritage Foundation. Maybe that will keep at least some horses out of his grasp if he does the EMM. There are times to “cowboy up” IF it is necessary, and then there are people that don’t know the ass end of a horse from the front.

There are a couple of people on facebook defending him. SMH

Where?

I have heard of him. Will warn friends.

Holy fruitbat.

I’m not sure what I was expecting after reading the post, but those pictures made me want to go punch the guy in the face, and I’m a nonviolent type.

I’m sure this jerk can deliver on both “dead” and “broke”, just not “dead broke”.

Poor horses. Owners who allow this should be beaten and left to die.

Did anyone else notice the barbed wire on the fence? Just what you need to add to that display of nastiness… the horse breaking loose and running into the wire. Yeesh.
