Aiden update.. Posted Pictures! Must end the Aiden thread. Aiden is doing excellent. THANK YOU COTH!!! (137) 1/23

Hang in there Lisa, Joey and Aiden. I’m thinking about you all and hoping Aiden gets the rest he needs to keep up his fight!

Poor baby! Hang in there little guy. Keep on fighting! My prayers are with the Hawks and little Aiden right now. God Bless.

Thank you lord for answering our prayers and for giving Aiden the strength to get better and for giving Lisa and Joey the strength to never give up, not even for one minute.

Truly a miracle.

Good morning cutie! Hope today brings more and more good news and you and your mom and dad share lots of cuddles and hugs. You are in my thoughts every hour of every day!

Lisa, I am so sorry you had such a tough day yesterday, but hang in there. I know you are upset at the surgeon, but I sort of understand his reasoning. Pain meds and problems with breathing are a difficult combination since the narcotic analgesics can suppress breathing. A lot of medicine is a delicate balancing act as you have undoubtedly realised over the past months. It is doubly difficult when it is your baby and you can’t really explain to him why something is being done, but I know Aiden will continue to pull through this and grow into a remarkable young man.

A baby deemed worthy of sharing a nickname (Coeur de Lion) with one of England’s most famous kings is sure to hang tough Remember Aiden - today is Boxing Day

I can confirm that Lisa loves Target–she lives ins St Petersburg but for the next say 2 months she’ll be in Atlanta–I know that a grocery syore that is in both places is Publix. Also Wal-Mart is always a given anywhere–just some general suggestions

I have chills going up and down my back thinking of you all. I hope and pray that Aiden has no problems with his procedure today.

What sad news about Briana, I cannot imagine the heartache.

Sending cyberhugs and many prayers.

Wow…I never think to have tissues next to the computer, and yet I always seem to need them. Everyone has had such beautiful things to say, and since I’m awful with words, I’ll just say that I second everyone else!

I think remember her mentioning that he would have to stay close by to the hospital for several months…

What if the Hokey Pokey IS what its all about?

curb-chains jin’gling on an open forum…

we love you, angel baby! good night–God bless!

I couldn’t log on all weekend and this morning the first thing I did was zoom over to this thread. I am praying and hoping really hard that Aiden’s lungs stay clear and his pain is minimal. I am so thankful that he will never remember any of this and will “pshaw” his mother and roll his eyes when she says “OH Aiden honey I remember the scare you gave your father and me in Atlanta. . .”

I am so agitated right now with this news, but I know Aiden will pull through. Lots and lots of sleep is needed for Lisa and Joey and Aiden. The body needs to rejuvenate itself; get all the rest you can. I am smothering Aiden with cyber kisses all over his sweet little face. We are all here for you Aiden, we aren’t going anywhere! XOXOXOXOXO

Hi Lisa

I just sent something to Aiden, but there may be a problem. I went back and looked up the addresses that were posted for Mason House. One of them had the zip code as 30322 and the other had 30033.

I went online to see if I could find out which one was correct. I couldn’t locate Mason House, but did go to the USPS site and checked the corresponding cities for the zip codes given. The 30322 was for Atlanta, specifically Emory. The other was for Decatur and surrounding areas. I used the 30322 zip code.

I hope that is the correct one. If so, keep your eyes out for it to arrive on Monday or Tuesday. It is coming second day air. If not, please let me know and I will try to notify the carrier and get the zip code changed.

BTW, I very much want to do a photo album/scrapbook for Aiden. If this is something you would like, email me when you have a free moment and we can work out the details. Or, you can give me a ring at 540.745.4486. If you do call and get the answering machine, please leave a number where I can call you back and a good time to call.

Hugs and kisses to you, Joey, and baby Aiden.

for this little boy and all of our angels here on earth who are watching over him! What a Christmas…I think all on this board are realizing what a truly magical time of year this is.

Lisa…God bless you. You warned us that there would still be bumps, but if it is this hard for us, I can only imagine what it must be for you. May the strong wings of Angels help hold you up. Lean on them when you need to.

What fantastic news!
You have no idea how many times I’ve thought about aiden in airports today and cried! des moines, chicago, dc!

I’m so happy to hear that the surgery has happened–what a lovely christmas!

Now, Lisa, once your beautiful boy is off the ventilator, don’t let him rush his fences!!! Distract him with those toys and when he gets up to the regular ped floor, distract him with all the cards he is getting!! This is the most special Christmas I can remember recently (being an old geek, I remember lots of Christmas’ Past )

We might all send you a Christmas Ornament for your tree next year as a token of how much you and your family gave to all of us <this> year!!!
much love, June

Hang in there little buddy. The worst is over and this will pass. Hang in there Lisa and Joey…we’re there with you.

Amen.

Beginning my evening prayer. All of you will held in the light with hope that dawn will bring good news. I remember the last song played in the film,“A Child’s Christmas in Wales” and it sure feels that it applies here. Sweet sleep, sweet dreams and KICK ON AIDEN!!!
