Okay scheduling my flight to come to Atlanta to help knowonder with her testing. Baby Aiden is not permitted to fly; the blood pressure changes can cause him bleeding and problems. So I will be away from Aiden for the first time in my life. I will miss him and Joey.

I remember the first time I was away from my baby – now 26. I was in the hospital for a week for surgery and missed him like crazy, but Mr. Agedbayhunter did just fine with him (with a little help from my mother ).

When I renewed my driver’s license, they of course gave me a new donor sticker for my license. They come in groups of 2, so you use one, and pass the next on. I handed it to my father.

My license has been signed for many years now.

Comeon Aiden!!!

We have been lurking and not posting on this thread but have been reading and following it from the edges of our seats.

All of our best wishes to Aiden, Lisa & Joey today and for all the days to come. Merry Christmas to your little family, and to your incredibly large adopted family as well.

crossed fingers!

It sounds like little Lionheart is doing much better tonight! Here’s to sweet dreams and restful healing sleep. Gotta rest up to deal with the deluge of letters and stuffed lions I’m sure are heading your way!
It’s a New Year, with all the hopes and possiblities you can imagine laid out before you.

Last few days kind of felt like God was indulging in a little dramatic license.
Just what is the Big Guy doing anyway? Testing plots for soap operas? Keeping the audience on the edge of it’s seats?
Sorry, Lord, but would much prefer a boring old non-dramatic happy ending. Can we skip to the final line, “…and they lived happily ever after”?

Of course that would be after the final scene, where little Aiden wins his first lead-line class on Knowonder, with a multitude cheering him on, crying like crazy.
That’s what I want to see!
So Lord, if you operate on anything similar to the Neilson ratings you will know that popular opinion is unanimously in favor (You should be able to hear the racket being made!! Just listen to them curb chains!!!) of Little Lionheart growing healthy and strong. And as the paying public, we hope not to be disappointed!!!

uh, please?

So glad to hear that day one went well! RolexH you are Wonder Woman and you have yourself a little Super Man! Knowonder you are just that…wonderful!! All my thoughts and prayers are with you tonight and will be until the results are in.

your liver has two lobes … and you can donate one while you are living … and, amazingly, both lobes will regenerate so that both donor and recipient have functional organs

So glad to hear that last night was looking more peaceful - and hoping that the rest of the night remained the same.

This is going to be the year of all years for you guys - I just feel it in my bones!!!

Prayers and jingles still coming your way!

I am continuing to pray for you, little Lion. I know that you can and will overcome this obstacle as you have so many others.

Dear God,
Please hold little Aiden and his family close this day. Guide the skilled hands of those to provide care and comfort them through this ordeal. Also, provide comfort and strength to the family that is suffering from loss at this time. Let them know that their beloved departed has not left them but will live on through Aiden.

May Jesus Christ give all involved strength and courage and much love.

Merry Christmas

Knowonder - What a huge gift you’re giving the Hawk family. You are such a brave, kind soul. Best of luck today, I’ll be sending you happy thoughts and good wishes all day. GOOD LUCK! Tonight after it’s all over go out for a drink and a nice dinner.

I am so happy that he is doing well! You sound like a million pounds has been lifted off of your shoulders Lisa! When I first learned I was pregnant my Mommy vibes told me it was a boy. Everyone else thought so too! Suprise surprise I was having a girl! Doesn’t matter they are all cute!

I hope Aiden stops being nauseous very soon. Don’t worry, I don’t think his scar will be that visible when he is older. By the time he is 18 I bet you probably won’t even be able to see it. It’s good that men have hair on their chests and tummy so it will be even less visible! I hope you guys are have a GREAT day!

Yeah!!! I am so excited to hear that Aiden is getting back to his usual self!! In the middle of Rush/Hell week, Aiden helps me keep it all in perspective and brings a smile to my face! The sorority I visted this morning works with the Make A Wish Foundation, and I’m sure Aiden could get a “Wish” when he’s older.
