I think Aiden said:

H - Heaven
j - joins
e - Earth
w - when
d - donated
o - organs
l - let
i - infants
f - frustrate
v - very
i - insidious
l - liver
k - killing
d - diseases!

I’ll second that. Have a great day Lisa, Joey, and Baby Aiden!

A dog has one master, a cat has an entire staff.

Knowonder…what a giving and generous person you must be. The gift of life is an extraordinary gift. I remain very optimistic and very positive that the light at the end of the tunnel is very near, so we must keep our “eyes up and kick on” to get there! Wishing all the very best…

Just finished morning chores and rushed in here to get the updates. GO AIDEN!!! You are truly a miracle, little guy.

Continuing to pray for all.

And now I’ll be away from my computer all day, thinking of Aiden every moment and counting the minutes until I can read the next update.

Well guys–it seems the nurses have nicknamed Aiden and given him a mascot. They call him “Lionheart” Some nurses have even gone so far as to bring him various stuffed lions. So Lisa and Joey are busily procuring lions for Aiden–we are going to surround him with these noble proud strong beasts.

He is on the beginning of a long road to recovery…but HE IS ON THE ROAD!!!

As I read Lisa’s earlier post, tears were just streaming down my face as I’m sure they were for many of you–what a perfect Christmas story–complete with miracle!

Thanks to ELJ’s persistence, we are now trying to get this story to the media–not just to tell our story but to bring national attention to organ donation–if it comes to fruition, I will post a separate thread to let you know how and when it can be seen/heard/read. For anyone thinking of doing something along these lines, I have spoken to Lisa and while she prefers to remain focused on Aiden right now, has given me her blessing and the go ahead to get this story told–and I will be happy to talk with anyone about getting this story out.

If anyone has any ideas/connections, please email me–for every Aiden, there is someone who runs out of time–we need this story told for them, as well as for Aiden.

FlightCheck–Wow! Thank you! You made me cry–again!

Again–to all of you–thank you for all you have done–I am forever in your debt for the support you have shown.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!

hope you have a good day, Baby!
don’t forget to look after yourself,Lisa, you are going to need your energy, to look after that rambunctious baby boy!

Thank you Lord for giving the gift of life. Please bring comfort to the family who has lost their most precious little one. Comfort them in their suffering and give them the courage and strength to meet the days ahead.

Almighty God, entrust Aiden, Lisa, Joey, and Sarah to thy never-failing care and love. Bless the surgeons and caretakers who will aid in Aiden’s recovery by giving them them the knowledge and ability to make him strong once again. Help Aiden’s body accept his new liver so that he may grow to be a man of faith. We cannot thank you enough for your wonderous deeds.

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Knowonder…I saw a sign not too long ago that said, “Friends are often angels in disguise!!” You truly Rock!!!

Since I am literally speechless by this wondrous turn of events, I want to thank you for voicing so beautifully what is in my heart.

There are two people in this household that are checking in regularly. I cannot imagine what Lisa and Joey are going through right now…

I’m making a run to Atlanta tomorrow morning (it’s only 3 hours) Lisa has told me so many stories therE just hasn’t been time to post but I promise I will come home tomorrow night and post a long update if we don’t get a chance to update during the day tomorrow–if anything significant happens I promise I will drive to Mason house to update you guys while I’m there. If you hear no news until tomorrow night it’s because all is the same and I will update you when I get home–deal?

I love you guys! HAPPY NEW YEAR–I’M HEADING TO THE PLACE WHERE HAWKS SOAR AND LIONS ROAR!!!

that had passed on and donated an organ, I would want some time before the donor family contacted me. Yes, it would be wonderful to know that my child saved another life, but the fact remains that I lost one and it needs time to adjust! I think I would be upset and bitter for a while knowing that my childs time and my time with him/her was cut short!
I think Lisa is right, let the families have time to heal and down the road I think they would be more than happy to hear the life they saved. Yet, let them heal (if healing from such a deal is possible) a little first!

Lisa…
How is Joey?!?! How is he holding up through all of this? We have been asking about you, but what about him?

Shoulders back, eyes up and KICK ON, Aiden! With determination like you have, nothing can stop you now.

Love and good thoughts to Lisa, Joey and family. May this be a WONDERFUL Christmas with continuing good news.

Although I know that next year, with Aiden home and opening presents under the tree, will be even better.

"If wishes were horses, then beggar's would ride.

Please keep positive thoughts for Aiden. I’m sure the team is doing the best they can to help him. The doctors and surgeons are not God. Just because we don’t understand something now doesn’t mean its bad or wrong. Yes it is very frustrating but anger doesn’t do any good. There is always HOPE. Keep the FAITH and God will take care of his angel. I am a Christian who prays for Aiden and his family all the time during the ups and downs. His life is in God’s hands as is mine. I truly believe that. Stay positive.
