Aiden update.. Posted Pictures! Must end the Aiden thread. Aiden is doing excellent. THANK YOU COTH!!! (137) 1/23

good luck girl - you are an inspiration to us too.
What you are doing is incredibly brave and generous and kind.
and Lisa, I never cease to be amazed by your strength, courage and positive outlook.
I think our motto should be “eyes up! kick on!”.
we are thinking about you and Joey, and of course our baby Aiden.

Another chime here for a “HAPPY NEW YEAR”

Glad you guys got some sleep, it was much needed!

Who was aksing about tapes? I have heard that before…somewhere in the massive collection of useless information that I have stored away in my brain…that stimulating the brain is the best way to heal.

And I really love the sound of “Where Hawks Soar and Lions Roar”

happy horsin!

I am crying AGAIN! Happy tears. Way to go Aiden. Merry, merry, merry Christmas everyone!

Don’t take life so seriously…it’s not permanent.

Best wishes that the transplant goes smoothly. Little Aiden deserves this so much. I know the waiting has been exhausting for Joey and Lisa.

I also feel for the poor family that lost their child. They have been so generous and brave to allow their child to help save others.

MKB…

Merry Christmas Aiden!

I just printed out Lisa’s post to read to my family.

“I can justify anything!”

I’m with Parminch there…POO!!! (Something truly inspiring for Aiden to read when he’s older and reading these posts ) Just hang in there little guy and keep fighting…you’ve come this far! Lisa - glad to hear you’re not giving up! Your attitude has been amazing throughout this whole ordeal!!!

They have given a most glorious gift though.

So glad to hear good news and find that things are looking brighter… I wore my curb chain all the way to Charleston last night and then hung it on my rear view mirror so that I could reach up and jingle it whenever I felt the need too~ it was very comforting…

The countdown begins- I leave in less than a day!

and keeping fingers & toes crossed.
Fantastic news!

This it be writed in A-merican, aber wenn I sing it it be better (und I don’t nott to be wearing no makeup):

The moment I wake up
Before I put on my makeup
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair now
And wondering what dress to wear now
I say a little prayer for you

Forever and ever
You’ll stay in my heart
And I will love you
Forever and ever
We never will part
Oh how I’ll love you
Together, forever
That’s how it will be
To live without you
Would only mean heartbreak for me

I run for the bus dear
While riding it I think of us dear
I say a little prayer for you
At work I just take time
And all through my coffee break time
I say a little prayer for you

Forever and ever
You’ll stay in my heart
And I will love you
Forever and ever
We never will part
Oh how I’ll love you
Together, forever
That’s how it will be
To live without you
Would only mean heartbreak for me

My darling believe me
For me there is no one
But you
Please love me too
I’m in love with you
Answer my prayer

Super News! Hugs to the whole Hawk crew!
What a great way to start my day.

Just talked to Lisa–he’s off and breathing on his own!!! WOW–I’m just speechless!!! Tears of joy, and a great feeling of triumph is coursing through my veins at this moment–I know there are more obstacles out there but WE HAVE TURNED A CORNER!!!

Please know that you were ALL an integral part of that and I know that I, the Hawk family and Aiden will NEVER forget this amazing system of support–you guys are phenomenal–what a Christmas present for Lisa–she gets her baby boy back, awake and able to recognize and respond to her–it’ll take dynamite to blast her away from him tonight!!!

Pray just has hard but also take a moment to thank Him for all the blessings He has already granted.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!! wooooooohooooooooooooooo!!!

LordHelpus,

12/21/1991 IS a double palindrome! No wonder my twin daughters were born on that day! Another special 12/21. Funny thing is they were born at 8:56 and 9:06 PM in LA. We live on the East Coast now, and we suddenly realized that if they had been born here they would have been born on different days! Arielle at 11:56 PM on 12/21 and Jessica at 12:06 AM on 12/22. Left us sort of wondering how to celebrate.

Lisa,

So glad to hear (and see) that your little cherub is doing so well. He looks great and happy, but not nearly so happy as his mom and dad. Keep on truckin…

Wonderful news!! Just getting caught up here after my evening at choir practice, so I guess the appropriate thing to say (or maybe sing ) is

Hallelujah!!!

I have been without electricity, heat, telephone and water for the last 6 hours. It was a very dark and lonely Christmas eve, but what bothered me most was that I could not check on Aiden.

The lights came on 10 minutes ago and this news lights me up inside also. Aiden, you have given me THE BEST Christmas present. I can only imagine the joy you have brought your parents.

THANK YOU, little one. Your fight and tenacity are an inspiration.
