HEY GUYS!!! Lisa and Joey–I can’t imagine how happy you are to be able to hold that bundle of joy!!! I can’t wait for my turn. I am planning on being there Friday night after work–around 8ish!!!
For now give my love to my precious boy!!!

I also check in at least 3 times a day. We just have to be patient and wait for news about how our angel Aiden is doing. Imagine being bedside and wondering moment by moment?

Why don’t you post a little wishlist here of what Aiden needs? This way for those who want to send a gift for the party… we can do so. Just let us know sizes for clothing and such… especially since I’m sure that kid will be growing like a weed now!

I went out to feed my horses early this morning…the rain from last night had cleared away…the moon was still visible, and a great big STAR.
SO of course I wished:
Star light
Star bright
I wish I may
I wish I might
Let my wish come true
Today and tonight
and I thought how lucky I am, to have a wonderful family and a life that is bumpy but great…so I wished for Aiden, that he come through all of this intact and unscarred…
and I came into the house, made coffee, got to this board…and found Knowonder’s post!

Ok, I have to share this with you guys, since you will believe me…My entire family just thinks I’m nuts (which could possibly be true…)
I had a great-aunt who I was incredibly close to. Closer than I am with any of my grandparents, and in many ways, closer than I am with my parents. Last April my aunt had a fairly massive stroke, and in August she passed away. Well, last night I had a dream about her, and all she said to me was “Don’t worry. I’m helping take care of the baby.”
Now, this is a woman who once cancelled a family vacation just to be able to donate blood for a sick baby for whom she was the only matching donor in the area. I KNOW she is there, watching over Aiden, making sure that he will be alright.

Wow Lisa! He looks so wonderful! Thank you so much for taking the time to post the photos. It must have felt amazing to get to hold him again.

This is what I get for not checking the BB for over 2 days! What a rollercoaster ride it was reading the last 15 pages (can’t believe there were 15 new pages in 2 days!).
All I can say is that Aiden is one helluva little boy. What a fighter. And the Hawk family and knowonder are quite possibly the strongest and most courageous people I know (even if “knowing” is only having read their posts on this BB.)
Keep on fighting, baby Aiden. If sheer number of good thoughts, prayers, and jingles had any effect, you’d most certainly be healthy now. You’ve got an incredible number of people rooting for you and your family.
And as I sit here typing this, my little puppy is sitting next to me, shaking her head and making her collar jingle. I think she knows how important it is, too

When I spoke with Lisa yesterday she said she’s got 4 rolls of film that need to be developed, but I’m sure with yesterday’s big MOVE they haven’t gotten to the store yet. So, Be Patient - pictures are coming!
