Sigh…much as I wish I could express my thoughts as well as most everyone else has, words always fail me just when I need them most. So, getting straight to the point: Lisa, I am not surprised that Aiden is doing so well. Besides having all of our good thoughts and prayers, he has a mother and father with an incredible amount of strength. If I were in your situation I would be a total mess, yet you have the strenght not only to keep Aiden going, but to keep updating us as well. I know, with every fiber of my being, that he will make it through this perfectly, and that he will be the healthy child you had dreamed about.

What I get from the most recent updates is that the testing going on will give the doctors answers–and with answers, solutions will follow.
If we can just “rein” in our worried thoughts and zero in on these logical basics, we can stay positively focused. So let’s all join virtual hearts and hands and send a tidal wave of positive energy!
So who am I talking to, here? First and foremost, myself! I’m giving myself a pep-talk, in an effort to keep from letting my healing “vibes” get scattered! I want to aim them straight and true–right at the heart of the present difficulty. Guess I’m just trying to give myself a “job” while waiting for the next good news. But I just know that good news will be forthcoming! Aiden is a fighter and a winner! All he needs is to get that fluid gone and to aerate those lungs! He will get past this!
Aiden, aim at that jump and go clear! We are with you, each and every one!
Lisa, there’s no way we would be offended by those pics. They show a beautiful baby slowly getting better…what could be more beautiful than that?

This is just what I needed after a really cruddy day.

AIDEN IS MOVING OUT OF PICU AND TO THE 4TH FLOOR TODAY!!!
Aiden is doing well enough to be moved out of PICU and onto his regular floor this afternoon–he will go up about 1 or so.
Will post more after he is moved and settled!

Aiden has been added to all the prayer chains I’m aware of, and we’re all waiting anxiously to hear today’s news.
