I feel like they fit big! I am a medium in tops, 28 breeches and the small fit me best!
However, the sleeves are super long! And I feel like I have longer(ish) arms.

So long! I just fold mine under but I do have to wonder who has arms that long. They are my favorite coats - my trainer even steals mine regularly!
Um… Me. Lol. I used to get custom ratcatchers so I had an actual cuff showing under my jacket.
While the h/j ship has sailed, I use the aa coats as part of my presentation outfit in combined driving as well as ridden dressage, and I almost cried with happiness when I saw that the coat was going to actually cover my wrists when I was riding.
Right! I usually have the opposite problem and these come almost half way over my palm!
I keep meaning to get mine tailored because it never stays tucked in for me, and I really like the cuff of my show shirt to peek out…
I went in store to try the AA and very glad I did. While I am traditionally a medium in every single thing ever, I actually went with a large. Here’s what I found trying on all sizes: the arm length is longer than average and the (waist) drop length is shorter than average. I fit in all three sizes, but the small and medium had very short waist drops. I liked the way the medium felt but the drop ended above my hips. The large had a better drop that fit my anatomy so I went with that even though it was a bit bigger through the chest and stomach for me. The material is stretchy, even sized down.
Boy do I have a deal for someone…
I recently bought a used grey Motionlite medium. I was all excited but when it got to me, it had REALLY short sleeves. We measured and looked the coat over. It’s not been altered. Seller is original owner and they attested to this. The sleeves match my non altered medium in Navy perfectly except for being 4 inches shorter. The grey coat has 21" sleeves, the navy has 25" sleeves. When I recently brought this to Horseware’s attention, they were willing to replace the coat if a receipt could be supplied to prove purchase.
I talked to the seller, who did offer to refund my money, and suggested if she could find the receipt then they could get the daughter a new coat that might fit better. I was happy to send it back to her to take advantage of the Horseware offer. They explained they were busy and ultimately never replied about being able to find a receipt.
So now I have this awesome coat if you have arms like a T Rex.

Well, bought the medium.
It fits nicely, but a smidgen too big. Not enough to warrant a return, but I’m awfully curious how much smaller the small is. I like the fabric.
Now, just need to make it to a show!
