My comment was directed to the posters quote that said “if you can’t do it right don’t do it at all.” That poster has every right to not like the feed, they can choose not to watch it, but it unfair for them to indicate that there should be no feed if it cannot be of the quality they want or if their technical issues cannot be overcome. I was not being hostile, I was being honest. And frankly all of the negative commentary is more likely to get Alltech to drop the feed all together – they have said they were working on it since long before people started slamming them. But the slamming of a major sponsor has certainly been incessant.

I have been a lurker on these boards for almost 15 years (and a Chronicle subscriber even longer), and only started posting more during last years Olympics.
I am really alarmed at how many members seem to forget that this is a public forum, and people are allowed to have a different opinion than you. And that they have every right to express those opinions without being slammed by people who claim to know better/more.
If you don’t agree with another persons opinion, you can certainly say so, but the tone and aggression of some responses is totally inappropriate. It may be worth looking over your reply before hitting post, because I at least hope not everyone means to come off the way that they do.
As for the comments about Alltech, I believe pretty much everyone has said they appreciate Alltech’s sponsorship. Some people have done so politely and some perhaps not so politely (from FB etc) but it is because some of us have informed Alltech that there are some major issues with the feed that they have been making improvements to it. So far from “ruining” it, it has gotten better, and many of us have been thanking Alltech and iHigh and their vendor for their efforts.[/QUOTE]
