It sounds as if many of our top riders will be attending.
Too bad it will be streamed on Horse and Country TV. No free livestream for non-USEA members.

Ride times for the Advanced division:

Interesting. Boyd’s running Thomas and Commando and Will’s running Timmy and Diabolo. I guess that answers the question of if they’re sticking around Europe.
Boyd is aiming Lulu for Pau I think
Was checking out scores of a friends division.
Anyone know how you can get an MR in dressage? I assume it’s the same requirements as an MR in cross country?
I think it’s more likely to be a miscoded scratch or retirement. The rule is:
d. In the case of a fall of a horse and/or competitor, the competitor will not be eliminated. He will be penalized by the effect of the fall on the execution of the movement concerned and in the collective marks.
It was an MR. The horse was doing the lengthening canter down the long side and tripped. Fell on his face and side and got tangled in the boards and the rider fell off. Both got up and seem to be fine.
Thank you for the insight. Glad to see they are ok! I have only ever seen this once (horse tripped in dressage and fell) and it was simply recorded as an E so interesting this was what it was recorded as.
Is anyone watching? The sound quality is awful on Horse and Country. Intermediate just started.
just fixed it. I could hardly hear the prelim
I just tried to stream the archive. Do I really have to sit through 8 minutes of ads before I can see the stream?? Isn’t that why I paid an annual subscription fee?
How scary! Hope they are both Ok!
right!! Why are there ads when it’s a paid subscription!
just looking at the scores, it looks like Liz had a fall Cooley, and a 20 on Quicksilver, and retired. Anyone know the what happened?
I didn’t see it, but there was a hold on course after she fell. Both at the same fence which may just be coincidence. I’m not there but I wonder if the reflection on the water had anything to do with it? Hopefully someone who is there can chime in. I hope she’s okay.
There are ads in all kinds of paid places.
TV for example.
A friend was there and apparently it was a very bad rotational fall and she was taken off by ambulance. I came here to see if anyone had an update on how she is doing - it sounded very scary from the description.
It seems like most of the trouble has been at the fence 14 combination, does anyone know why?
Big disclaimer because it’s not an official source.
Hearing from a couple of friends who are there competing this week and witnessed Liz’s accident. Early word is that she was breathing but unable to move or speak. Official announcement made in the park was that she was being transported to another location for observation.
Scary, scary stuff. Praying for her, her team and loved ones.
Question, that is bothering me if true
I saw the course walk/map of Starter. Looks like starter has both a ditch and water, but I saw no option (couldn’t tell if there was a black flag or not). Can anyone confirm if there is no option for Stater Ditch & water? Shouldn’t it follow the regulations of starter having to have an option for both?
