“BUT QUESTIONS REMAIN…”
Thank you Eventing Nation.
Even a total jerk can be making a very valid and reasonable point.
If that is how people are leaving the trailer parking at an event, it is right to point out that they should not be leaving this much mess and this is why we have to pay a ship in fee.
I’m a member of the poo police. I saw friends throwing it under their trailer and made them move it and pick it all up. I was like “COME ON YOU GUYS!!!” Honestly I do not understand anyone who thinks like that.
This should be pretty easy - “would you be mad if a visitor did this on your property? Yes? Then why in the world are you doing it here?”
I’m sure most people including myself agree that everyone should clean up after themselves but the point of posting this is to show his typical narcissistic behavior which in that post is almost humorous now that the truth is out. Posting on social media to point out the faults of others while he has heaps (and way bigger problems) to work on himself is just typical.
And let’s be honest… he’s wasn’t cleaning up at his trailer… he was having that brave working student that he treated like crap clean it up.
But to your point, I agree that everyone should do their part in leaving it like they found it.
THANK YOU, this.
Not only is he the complete opposite of a “paragon of virtue”, but who cares whose minor bad behavior he points out?
What a stupefying hypocrite he is.
so was he out showing? Does anyone know?
Doubtful. The post about the messy day parking was from earlier this summer, and he hasn’t shown at CHP since August. I saw a comment on FB that they’ve refused his entries since this came out but I have no idea how true that is.
He has been asked not to enter at CHP until there is resolution to the matter.
Quite a statement that this horse park has more integrity than the governing bodies.
What a sad state of affairs…
And yet Evi and Tanya Strasser are still suspended. Huh. Seems like the FEI comes down on female abusers harder than males. I wonder what’s up with that?
Evi and Tanya were just resuspended, their suspension was lifted for nearly a year.
I actually wonder if he will since everyone knows him.
Can they even do that? Right now, he has no charges civil , criminally and no pending suspensions from any body.
USEF has a provision in their rules that allows organizers to refuse entries, so yes, they can
Hasn’t this been done many times before? For just one example, isn’t the dressage hub person banned from WEF (or some big horse park) in FL?
@FitzE I believe so, yes. I have no skin in the game but I had heard that here or on other forums.
In Canada I understand an infamous “horse lover” was banned from Spruce Meadows .
The USEF does have written in their rules that a show management can refuse / ban entry to a person who has shown behavior against the management , property owner etc. It can be a challenge to find in the General Rules, but it is there.
Don’t most states have laws that a business or an entity can refuse admittance or service to anyone as well?
Eric Lamaze was banned from Spruce Meadows as well for a while. I can’t say for sure on the other sicko.
