Dude’s got his priorities straight.
love that he feels safe enough with you to take those luxurious sun batheing-naps
Since I couldn’t squeeze in Monday pics, here’s a Tuesday Bo-date. I believe this is week 20, just over 4 months.
We stretched our legs on the lunge line. We’ve started working on our ‘stand still OVER THERE’ skills.
He’s not thrilled with the new rules.
Wither pockets are starting to fill in…
Shedding like a hair sheep. I’m about to take the clippers to him and knock the ends of that fluff down.
Am I done yet?
Am done now, time’s up. Make way.
Nope, not stopping!
Almost there!
Ta da!
I’m a parrot.
HAHAHA!!! That’s why the long hair: it’s feathers!
That hair is driving me bonkers! It just won’t let go. I’m charging my cordless clippers right now, I should be able to set them long enough to just buzz off the long fluff and then the remainder can fall out when it’s good and ready.
Can’t say that I blame you!
Honestly, he has such a beautiful, sweet face!
Note to self: never think “oh I can just clip that off real quick” and expect not to have to shower and change clothes. Now that I’m clean and itchy hair free again…
He stood in that exact spot while I zipped the extra fluff from head to tail, minus legs. Seemed to be enjoying himself quite a bit, too.
He’s going to look a bit splotchy until the rest of it grows in, but no more hiding behind all that floof!
Good job, Mister Handsome is looking mighty spiffy there!
Looking sleek & sexy, Bo!
Your captions! Haha
Such a handsome dude! Love the sleek shiny coat.
P.
I wanna boop that snoot!
He looks better all the time!
I can’t believe he’s the same horse. You’ve done such a tremendous job… what a difference you’ve made in his life. You can see the appreciation in his face in your photos.
Not everyone knows about Peeps, but the super-long-time COTHers will.
I am sad to report that NOT ONE HORSE was willing to try my Peep.
I will try again in a few days with a stale Peep.
I have only had one horse that was willing to eat them. And he would eat ANYTHING.
Bo has AIR CONDITIONING.
Smart horse.
That’s what I was thinking as I was clipping him on an 89 degree day. I told him he didn’t need that hair anymore, it’s hot out.
Of course, today it’s raining and thunderstorms, but it’s still mid-60’s.
@Jenerationx I don’t particularly like Peeps myself, but I did eat one. It wasn’t as bad as I remembered. I plan to feed the rest to my kid.
