Sweet As Sin won his race, but was claimed.
GMMTM had a disastrous ride by Maragh & ended up finishing at the very back of the field.

Congratulations! Natural Beauty foaled a healthy filly by Violence at 11:15 p.m. last night at Gainesway Farm in Kentucky. Above is a video of her taking her first steps.
Her 2-year-old half sister by Charlatan sells tomorrow at OBS March as hip 30.

Madame Secretary is aiming for the Santa Anita Oaks! Big step up from her maiden win, but Mandella is not known for pushing everything just to head for Kentucky. If he thinks this is a reasonable goal, that says a lot.

Beautiful! I am looking at the inside of his right front leg: What are those white spots? If there were more and smaller I would say pin-firing. I don’t think they do that any more. Scars? Not artifacts of the picture, you can see them in the walking video.
Not sure. Could be some type of pin firing, but doesn’t look quite like those I’ve seen in the past.
Also Looks like a rectangle around the white marks has been shaved at one point.
Caldera will be going to the LA Derby & will get s jockey change, Tyler Gaffalione will be aboard.

I think it might be time to consider a second career for Chasing Time. He has worked hard for his owners–27 starts over 5 years, earnings of over $500,000, but it seems he may have lost a step. Last start an allowance at Sam Houston to “give him some class relief” and I think to keep him out of the claiming ranks.
He appears to be sound–time off for rests, but I don’t think he was laid up with injuries. I wish someone (not my 78 year old self) could give him a shot as a jumper or eventer.
