Anybody know their TB's racing name?

Boy did he luck out. His back up requested name was “Diesel Power” LOL

My 2009 gelding is Royal Envoy (Artie Schiller x Just Breezing).
While watching the videos of his 5 starts I noticed the caption
“0 Wins; 0 Places; 0 Shows.”

So I named him Triple Zero.
He’s the smartest, sweetest, laid back 6 year-old I’ve ever met.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for this! “Diesel Power” sputtering all the way to the finish line.

Top Lyric - 1990 solid bay sired by Topsider out of Song of Syria. He raced until 2000 with 94 starts.

That’s fascinating–thanks for sharing. I never thought to look into that before.

My current 2 are:

Pop Tarrt (E Dubai - Sunshine Again, by Dixieland Band) - 2006 KY-bred gelding. 22 Starts, won more than $100K as a 3yo before his breeder/owner got all excited and tried to make him a Gr1 horse. Owned by the same connections his whole career, they took him home after his 5yo year, kept him as a pet for a bit, then donated him to CANTER. I’ve kept his JC name and he’s now an eventer and a dressage horse.

Souza (First Defence - Jazz Drummer, by Dixieland Band) - 2010 KY-bred gelding. Godawful race horse…3 starts, 3 last place finishes, but a nice mover and will hopefully grow up to be an event horse. I kept his JC name as well.

I’m trying to find the location of Ever Cat’n, do you know where he is? Thanks!

Is this still going.?

i have a La Purga by Purge.

and a Shades Play by Hansen, dam was something cat.

Western Lonestar was my first TB, by West by West. He had the most successful career out of them. Same riding his riding career. My Purge horse is a nutcase (no wonder they practically gave him to me)

My one by Hansen spent 2 years rehabbing, has the best brain (in my 15 years of riding) that I’ve ever sat on, keeping him sound is another story.

@North Dakota a poster commented to you above.

Not sure if you’ll get the notification but worth a try.

Most of you probably know this, but in case there are others who don’t, getting a horse’s race record and pedigree is free, and easy, as long as you have the correct spelling of the registered name.

Go to equibase.com and enter the horse on the search line near the top. All of the results are there, if the races are fairly recent the charts of those races, and also any history of a horse being sold through a Thoroughbred sale.

I definitely know the registered names of mine, 'cause I bred most of them. The two I did not breed:

Bubuzela 2010 bay mare (Rockport Harbor - Maemy x Punk(ARG))
M G Baby 2011 bay mare (Pleasant Colony - Reen x Forestry)

I bought those two mares several years apart, and thousands of miles apart. I was startled to find that they had actually raced against each other in Bubuzela’s first start!
