Keratoid Devil 1989 (Stop The Music X Matoki) 31 + starts. Long, short, turf, dirt, hurdles. Word was he had lots of talent but no understanding of the concept of “Racing.”

My 21 yrold mare is Awesome kc (Really Awesome x carydough). From what I know, the sire had about 3 foals, and I found her mother living in charleston through YouTube (crazy I know). She was bred in Fl, and got a lip tattoo but never raced. She is particularly sensitive and claustrophobic, and came with some impressive wire scars on her legs. I suspect there’s a good story there, but I don’t know it.
My coming 3yrold is unraced, and unregistered, but I know he is Bellamy road x coli bear. He had surgery as a baby to fix his super turned out legs. He’s straight now, and 100% sound. Thank my lucky stars.
Mine are awful. Computer and Powerstroke.
Powerstroke isn’t terrible. Plus lends itself to lots of barn names…diesel, Hemi, Duramax…

My boy is Cabeus by Empire Maker out of Adobe Gold Foaled in 2009. He is kind, quiet did not like to run. Loves being my low level eventer. Fancy enough for the hunter ring. I love him

She was a Spectacular Bid GGD - and looked spit image of him. Changed her name to Mein Edel.
Twisterfare (track trained only) by Ramannolie out of Le Tresor. Didn’t like Rumi’s name for obvious reasons (although sometimes true lol) so changed it to Rum Cay (my Dad grew up in the Bahamas.)
Intuitively by Silver Fox out of Tilly K . Her name isn’t horrible but I did change her barn name from Sally to Sadie.
Current horses do have changed names for showing as well lol. Think I’ve only kept a couple original names lol. I wonder where people come up with these names sometimes.
You will definitely not recognize mine! His name now is This Guy (lol). His racing name was Brian’s Spitfire. It’s really lame. He was not very good. He got one second, maybe two thirds, and the rest were close to last :lol:. His grandfather is Fusaichi Pegasus who was remarkable. 
Whataboutfreud 2010 (Freud x Whataboutus by Clever Trick) 5 starts, no money. dumped jockey and ran back to the barn during the post parade for his 6th race. Became an event horse and never looked back. Incidentally, I kept his JC name.
Well we have too many to list but we always make sure we know their pedigrees and therefore their race names. My favorite name is an Australian TB we imported, Gravy Train. His race record was abysmal but he was a born eventer. Such a sweet horse and major talent. Was winning at the CCI** level but sadly colic took him away. Still miss him 
My 2009 gelding is Royal Envoy (Artie Schiller x Just Breezing).
While watching the videos of his 5 starts I noticed the caption
“0 Wins; 0 Places; 0 Shows.”
So I named him Triple Zero.
He’s the smartest, sweetest, laid back 6 year-old I’ve ever met.
