Anyone buy? sell? adopt? from Brit Le'Brand Farm Warsaw Ohio?

insurance

That is so the “adoptor” pays for insurance on the horse. If something happens to horse B gets the insurance $$;)

Is it easy to get insurance?

Is it easy to get insurance on every horse? I don’t know anything about insuring a horse. I thought you needed to have a vet examine the horse and then the insurance company decided if they would insure it or not. Doesn’t the age of the horse matter? Or will then insure any horse, you just pay more for it?

Depends on how much you want to insure for. Under a cretain amount, l am thinking like $5,000 worth of mortality coverage, it is fairly simple. I do think that part of the paperwork does need to be filled out by a vet. Age and use of the horse does matter. It has been awhile since I have delt with it. Of course I am only talking about mortality. You can also get medical. That requires more past history of the horse if I remember correctly. And also premiums vary on coverage, age, use and history of horse.
If you really want to know The Folck Agency insures. Look them up. They are the same people that run The Congress Super sale plus many others.

insurance

sounds like a “win-win” situation for B…i think i’m in the wrong business! I work my butt off every freakin’ day, uncle sam takes his cut, and i barely have enough to cover the bills. she gets to sit back, collect the cash, doesn’t pay taxes, lives in her mommy and daddy’s house, and the sheriff’s dept. can’t seem to touch her…that’s screwed up!!! i’m just waitin’ for the day…

assuming of course that her horses could pass the inspection to get insurance, don’t they have to be sound to get ins? Am guessing this is the fallout w/ the warmblood that went to Mt Vernon last year. I agree w/ Trailqueen, am waiting for the day that justice is served. And it will eventually come…

And BTW, Gus is dead, was “put down” after being declared “septic in the hoof” by Miss B. Funny, that’s a diagnosis that I’ve never heard after over 40 years in the horse business. Sounds to me like a conscious disregard for the specific directions given to B by our vet, who said specifically told B that Gus should have only supervised and limited turn out, and that any injury was potentially life-threatening. Am sure that B decided she knew more than our vet. Hope Gus was put down humanely, but given B’s track record, I bet he went to Sugar Creek for the $$. Don’t you know these horses and ponies are all waiting for B at the pearly gates when she shows up to demand entrance into heaven for all her “good deeds”…

Oh wait, is that Morgan M joining us with her latest opinion on her “good friend” B???

she will get hers…carma has a way of working its self out and making things rite, i just hope its sooner then later.

ohio AGO

well, it looks like she’ll be busy defending herself once again since someone filed another complaint against her with the attorney general’s office in ohio. the file was opened dec. 18. should make for some more interesting reading:winkgrin:

legal troubles for Miss Britney

Trailqueen, you just made my day!!! maybe they can get a family discount with the attorney that’s representing her sibling?

humane society

… people need to complain to the humane society and the sheriffs department… yes her aunt is the head of the humane society and has worked there for 30+ years and has never showed favortism towards anyone no matter if they are related or not… and like said by another on here … it is by name only… they do not associate… and b does have an uncle who is a detective but they don’t associate either… everyone needs to stand together as if there are enough complaints at the sheriffs office they WILL have to do something… but the prosecuter will need every complaint available… and the humane society well the same for that… if chris receives one complaint she will check it out and she is very fair… please do not let be get away with this… stick together and do what you can

I just wanted to say that all of you posting your trials and tribulations, has given me the strength - courage to pursue justice for myself - thank you

Happy New Year!
i posted ads on those sites, i hope someone has seen them…i wish i could aford to actualy file a suit agenst her but i cant.
The Equine.com adds all have a comment box included in the adds. You can call up any listed add and make your comment about the horse/seller. The comments then show to other people who read the adds. Simple “buyer beware” might help others not be duped.

equine.com comment box

In addition to posting ads either under her mother’s name or under no name, Miss B also has the comments box in her ads blocked so no one can post comments about her. That’s why comments are posted here and ripoff.com and other sites to try and give people a heads up about doing business with this chick.

Are you missing your saddlebred mare? Did you get into a bad deal with a person posing as a rescue and you got scammed and either lost possession of your horse, lost money on the deal, or got a lame, sick or untrained horse. Same thing happened to me. This “rescue” also gave my friend a sorrel colored saddlebred mare and now after this bad deal we wonder if the horse may be stolen.

Wow Mandy
That gal has seven adds on there about this so called rescue.
Is it the same? Have you contacted her?

i did yes and am am waiting to see what she says

I have heard from the gal that has those adds on Dream Horse. NOT the same person. Here is link to her rip off report. Interesting:o
