Are both complaints filed with the State’s Attorney General’s Office? Can they be viewed online? Or do you have to pay and wait for them to be put in the mail? Has the Sheriff’s office in Coshocton ever been able to take any action–I think at the time I spoke with them their intent was to forward the info obtained in their investigation to the prosecutor’s office…
mandy, there is a thread on the forum somewhere, from the last couple days, that addresses this. They called it a periople or something like that. It’s sort of like a cuticle. Often noticible when the horse has been getting that area wet (as in, rain, washing, walking in snow, etc.) If it is the periople you’re seeing, it is normal to see it in some weather conditions.

Both are filed with the AGO. You can request copies to be mailed to you and it does not cost anything. Usually takes about 14 days. Again, her “personal and private” info. is all very public knowledge. I’m sure she didn’t think about that either…
SO Sad…
About 2 years ago I gave Britney two TB mares. She promised me she would give them a forever home, and I would be able to come and see them anytime. She stated that all the 4H kids around hung out at her place and would love the mares. Earlier this year, I found out who she really was, as a tried to find a home for another mare I rescued. She called, I knew it was her because I had her number still stored in my phone because I hadn’t forgotten about the two girls, and when I confronted her, she told me one mare had died, and she gave the other away. I still have papers on one of the mares, am so sad that she is like this. I would give anything to know what really happened to my mares, and get them to safety if they are in a bad situation.
So new news, i called the sherrifs office and he told me that they dont have enough evidence or whatever to prove that she did the things she did with intent…ie. taking my horses, she didnt get them with the intent to sell them…how this is possible i dont know but i went online and filed a complaint for missrepresention with the State’s Attorney General’s Office…so thats what everyone needs to go do so that they can see that she is doing these things and has the intention of selling the horses.
oh and also the thing on here about the feet was me lol but thanks !!!

Wonder if they can do anything in the long run to either shut her down or see to it that she conducts business in an honest manner? Like I’ve said before, it’s not just a couple-hundred bucks here-n-there, we’re talking THOUSANDS of dollars.

like i said they told me there was nothing that could be done. i find that hard to beleave, i got my file comformation in the mail today and it said they were going to contact her and see if my problem can be resolved outside of the courts…fat chance in that happening…we’ll see what she tells them…still keeping my fingers crossed.

I have “adopted” a horse from her and yes it has been a pain to say the least. I ended up having to give her an addtional $1200 for my mares registration papers. I have to say I got lucky my horse is a good girl but not what she was supposed to be. If any of you have questions please feel free to contact me.

Sounds like she is playing the game of “theft by deception” with her business clients. I don’t know what else you could call it unless it really does cost that much for the papers. Maybe someone out there has some info. regarding this.

As far as I know it doesn’t cost that for quarter horse papers. However, Arabians are very expensive. I love my horse very much and I wouldn’t give her back she means the world to me. However, I must state that Britney isn’t a horrible person I do think she does try to give her horses a good home.
And Britney I know your reading this I wish you hadn’t made all these people so angry I do think you are a nice person in general. I don’t know why you had to treat them so horrible if it is indeed true. However, I am glad I got Annie and you know she is truly happy and very healthy. I will continue my contract as stated and I hope that you can work things out with these other people so they will no longer need to have a thread bashing your business or your horses.

AQHA charges for transfer= $15.00 for a member. $55.00 for non member.

And Arabian transfers= $15.00 for a member and $40.00 for a non member. As for getting them Reg. to begin with the costs are compairable between the two breeds. All you have to do is look on each of their web sites.

So you have ‘adopted’ a quarter horse named Annie from Miss Britney, and paid an additional $1200 for the mare’s papers. Sounds like you might have to say something nice at Britney’s request or perhaps lose your ‘adoption’? :lol: And you paid how much for the mare’s papers when you don’t even own the mare? tell me how that works…last time I checked, AQHA requires the owner to be registered on the papers. Do you own the mare or are you the adoptee? Am sure the AQHA would be interested to know…

So, if the horse was transferred to Stacey in 2008 and it’s in her name, how does she still have to abide by an adoption contract? She owns the horse and B should no longer be involved, right? I certainly hope Stacey isn’t giving her money every month for the “adoption”. 
We know B reads this blog. She was on awhile back under the name “Morgan B” trying to defend herself. B is a girl who has always gotten what she wanted no matter what, plain and simple. Very spoiled. Never told “no” or been made to hold down a job and be responsible like most of us who’ve actually grown up to make an honest living. I never thought she was a bad person, just the product of her environment. The apple don’t fall far from the tree. Hope she wakes up from her (not so perfect) dreamworld pretty soon.
well on my end i got the papers comfirming my complaint with the atterny generals office and am waitting to hear what miss B says to defent herself and what explination she gives for what she did to me. how she sleeps at night is beyond me…and for the person who defended her, well you apparently dont know her to well…you dont know she gives horses good homes, just b/c you gave one a good home that dont mean every single horse she has ever sold went to one, which im sure is in the 100’s…maybe she does maybe she dont, we’ll never know, but what i do know is that n e one that does what she does to people like me and everyone else is a discrace and NOTHIG anyone says to me will change my opinion of her, i will never forgive her nor will i ever forget what she did.
