Ok, somebody help me understand this. Britney is “in college” and trying to downsize. How is it she keeps getting new horses and posting them for sale or show lease? And how come the descriptions and prices keep changing? Is that a moving target or what? Serial seller? Chronic horse flipper? what? No logic…

I think I may need to return to the eye doctor… did I see that she posted Demi for $20,000 on horsetopia and $15,000 on equinenow? There are definitely more horses or sale and lease on equinenow…hmmm. I bet those new horses are from people that had decided to move up in their riding and had out grown the horse…:yes:

Moving targets ARE harder to hit…There is no way in he!! that she can keep up with a full time college schedule, maintain the horses/paperwork/emails, etc. without her mommy,daddy, and grandma/grandpa getting their hands in the 'ol money jar:winkgrin: THEY can’t downsize because they put too much emphasis/importance on material things and that money is spent as soon as it hits the bank…

Has anyone had any luck persuing lawsuits with this girl? Where the ??? does she get all of these horses? It seems some people have given horses to her thinking it was a rescue, retirement situation and they find they are being sold. How is she portraying herself to these people? Does she say what her intention for the animal is?

I am writing this post to try to locate my daughters horse. We thought we were donating him to Britney for a theraputic riding horse. I did save all the emails and have the contract that gives us first right of refusal. My daughter and I have been trying to reach her and have been unsuccessful. We believe through our research that she may have turned around and sold him. I have tried to reach a Lt at the local police department and so far have not been able to make contact. I am going to file a civil suit against her as well.
The reason we donated him was he was diagnosed with the early stages of wobblers. We spent almost a year at different specialists before we were able to get a diagnosis because his symptoms were so slight and irregular. He was my daughters best friend and after many months of finding her crying in his stall, we decided to find a theraputic riding organization so we could share him with others and he could do what he is best at - making people happy. We are devastated with these results!
We want to find him to make sure he is safe and alert the owners of his condition as it will worsen over time and he will become more limited. We thought with this arrangement that he would come back to us once his condition worsened and he could live out his days with us.
We are trying everything we can to track him, and to find out as much information about Britney as possible. We donated him in December 2007 - He is an appendix, liver chesnut with a unique blaze that almost looks like a question mark. His name is Prince Charles. We do have many photos.

Has anyone tried contacting the horse advertising sites? They must have an archive of her ads. That may help to prove she was actively selling/sold donated horses.
we are in the process of contacting the horse advertising sites to see if they have any records of my horse.
Des any one that has bought a hoorse from her have the name or contact info. on the vet that she uses? if she changed his name she probably had to get a new coggins on him, and then he also would not be able to be traced back to us.

I will go over my paperwork and post the information listed on the coggins supplied by Britney. I’ll look over the weekend and hopefully have something to post by Monday. It’s heart breaking just to have to find a retirement placement for a horse with a disability–the whole situation is difficult. But then to finally settle on what is thought to be the best choice only to discover that it’s all a lie–for profit no less–it’s a horrible deception. Both for the person who is placing the horse and the person who unwittingly “adopts/purchases” the horse as a horse who is useful and safe. The irony is she goes to great effort to post resumes that sound “just right and rideable” Shame on her…

Also, do post something on the missing horse column on COTH, and most of the websites that B posts (or used to post) on have missing horse lists too. Pictures of Prince Charles might help as well, he sounds like his markings are very distinctive.

You might also want to check with the folks in Reynoldsburg, OH that issue the coggins reports, can’t remember the name but I think it is a branch of the Ohio Ag Dept. Will look when I get home and send you a note with their phone no. The coggins reports may be public records, in which case you won’t need a subpoena to get copies of the reports.
Added Sat. morning: coggins reports in Ohio are issued by the Ohio Dept of Agriculture, Division of Animal Industry, 8995 E. Main, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. There is a place for owner’s name and address, but more importantly, the section below that is “horse stabled at”. A written request for a search in that field by address would most likely be the info that the Dept needs if it is able to search under that function.

If Britney is locating these horses through the “free horse” ads dreamhourse or equine.com why not post an ad looking for your horse–I think that’s what Mandi ( see contact info in earlier pages of this thread) did. So many of her horses were sold through dreamhorse and many users visit the site regularly–perhaps-just maybe the person who purchased your horse from Britney will see your post.

sorry i have been gone for so long. im still trying to find legal help with my situation but am having n luck. i seen on here where she did another lil girl exactly like she did me, it makes my heart ach b/c i know what it feels like. if anyone is getting a lawyer and can do multi cas or combine them r whatever let me know. she needs to be stoped, why is she able to ge way with all of this ?

I have been reading this forum topic for sometime now after I heard this girl supposedly has a therapeutic riding program in the Warsaw Ohio area. I’m from one of the neighboring counties and did some asking around. To my previous knowledge there is only one therapeutic riding program in Coshocton County, Higher Hopes.
And to the person trying to contact her by phone and can never reach her or she doesn’t return calls. That’s what she does to people who lease from her too.
My suggestion would be to send her a Certified Letter with Return Receipt that has to be signed for by someone living at that address. Then you have proof that you contacted her regarding the horse you donated to her “so called therapeutic riding program that does not exist.” If your contract with her states anything to the fact that she has to have contact with you on a regular type basis, state that in the letter also. Then give her a set amount of time to call you or better yet ask her to do it in writing. Then you will have that also for your records. And be sure to make copies of the letter you mailed to her.
I hope that you can find your horse and who has leased him from her.
But be warned no one in the area has anything good to say about her so she’s going to be difficult to deal with.
Last I heard she was going to start a breeding program or some crap like that. Probably what she’s claiming to be in college for.
i went through all the proper chanels for that stuff and the OAG office found in her favor b/c she leaves stuff out and dont file all the stuff either sent to her or like me most of it was verbal between her and i so i am still searching for y pony, she said my 2 mares passed away, so thats where i am at…gd luck but unless you got the money to get a lawyer you probably wont ever fid your hrse, she knows what she is doing and is very good at it !!
